This doctor miss diagnosed me and told me i would live 3 to 5 years. take away from this doctor there are way better pulmonologies, despite i do have a life threatening disease but now im being treated at NYP by the transplant team and they have been able to manage my disease i walk around without oxygen and feel great.

Rude and would never recommend her. Not caring and condescending

Dr Singas is a nightmare.She did not complete a simple form for two weeks so I can have a test done when I was sick.When finaly I got in touch with her,after many phone calls, she started arguing with me and telling me that I don't understand how busy she is in the hospital.She is cold and doesn't seem to have much of medical knowledge, she could not unswer my questions and did not care.

My overall experience with this doctor was a horror. She does not take her "oath" as a doctor seriously. She left a patient in dire straights because she stated she was "off the clock". The patirnt was within 20 feet of her. Caring as a doctor does not apply to her. She will pay for leaving a patient on the verge of an asmatha attack. I was not the only person to feel like this. she was out right rude to all. I always thought once a doctor takes an oath no matter where they are they should help instead of help a person in need. PLEASE ANYONE who has had anything to do with this doctor DO NOT FEAR HER, STAND UP AND PUT HER BACK IN HER PLACE.SHE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE A DOCTOR. i AM NOT STOPPING HERE. I HAVE A DATE AND TIME OF HER HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR. MAKE SURE IT GOES ON HER RECORD. WE NEED TO STAND UP TO THESE DOCTORS WHO CONTINUE TO MISS TREAT PATIENTS. ALL DESERVE BETTER

Dr. Effie Singas failed to diagnose a life threatening condition, despite patient complaining and presenting with clear signs and symptoms. Has a very poor bedside manner, and will side step questions. Dr. Singas has refused to answer questions, citing that she has too many patients to be able to answer specific questions. She is not thorough and is lacking in just about every aspect.
