Dr. Ehud Israel Zusman, MD

Dr. Zusman seems to not remember what he said in previous visits or is simply not telling the truth. He also seems to be disorganized and orrloaded where once he was reading from old test results saying I had an infection and another time sent me to lab to get urinalysis and culture but failed to order the culture so I had to go back again. He seems quick to recomend surgery. I am getting a second opinion

Dr. Zusman is an excellent listener, asks good questions, and gives very concise (sometimes terse) answers to questions about my health or a particular treatments. Also, Dr. Zusman and all members of his team including nurses, clerks, and phone staff to maintain a sense of humor that is unusual in medical organizations. Very refreshing experience.

If your PSA is slightly high and he wants to start cutting, get a second opinion.

I am a 78 year old obese male. This man is the best - straight arrow! Does not hesitate to give his best professional opinion. He has performed 2 surgeries on my bladder removing and staging my cancer. During the first session with me he told me I had a possible cancer due to microscopic blood in my urine. He followed with a CT scan and a cystoscopy, during which he immediately told me that I had a very large tumor. A few days later he performed surgery to remove the tumor, and he showed up that evening in my hospital room following up on me, as well as early the following morning. He first did chemo into the bladder and then followed up with 2 sessions of 6 each BCG insertions - a total of 12! He tells me what is going to happen, listens to my complaints, delays procedures based on results of weekly urine samples, quickly has prescriptions electronically ordered through my requested pharmacy. If this evaluation had more stars for Dr. Zusman, I give them to him. He has also… seen my wife for some of her bladder problems, and I'm confident she'd give this man the maximum number of stars.

Dr had released confidential information to family members post op. Not ok. He was also very rude several times.
