Her EMG technician is the best. I've had several of the same ones and finally...finally they figured out what is causing the pain in my lower back and feet after 15 years of complaining and getting answers like it's just probably arthritis or we don't see anything. She found a pinched nerve and tarsal tunnel syndrome from EMG. Even after I had a thorough one at UPMC. She also did MRI for my bad headaches and it came back saying that I have a condition that would cause headaches so I get injections that really help along with medicine. I searched and searched until I found a Dr that would find out what my pain was coming from and finally I found the right one. Thank you so much Dr. Rice and to her excellent EMG tech for helping me. One more thing, her staff is extremely nice!!!!!

Upon calling to make an appointment I was able to see her within 48 hours. She listened to me and was compassionate about what I was going through. She validated my symptoms instead of dismissing them and attributing them to other causes without looking into them as my PCP has done for the last 10 years. After a brief neurological examination they performed an EEG and EMG the same day in her office - I didn't have to make an appointment with the hospital and wait. Dr. Rice's exact words to me were "We are going to get to the bottom of this and get you some relief." This was such a comfort to hear after so long of being ignored by my PCP, who made me feel like a hypochondriac. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had to wait in the waiting room in between my EEG and EMG, but they consistently updated me on how much longer it would be. I wasn't just waiting and waiting wondering how long it would take. While I was waiting, an elderly man came in… for his appointment. The nurse at the desk knew him by name and it turned out he was a month early for his appointment. But they didn't turn him away they fit him in so he didn't have to come back. The entire office worked like a well oiled machine. I would highly recommend Dr. Rice.

Do not waste your time going to her! Choose any other doctor! She did absolutely nothing to relieve my pain! My back & neck hurt & she prescribed an elbow pad! I do not know how she stays in business. She was the worst excuse for a doctor that I have ever seen in my entire life!

GREAT STAFF, VERY HELPFUL

Very buzzards bed side manner. Does not explain things and very scattered. Very thorough but does not explain why or what. Marvelous nurses and staff.

The staff was very courteous! They were great and dr rice dis seem to care about my issues! All these reviews had me very nervous but i think she was very nice and helpful

Excellent diagnostician, but she gets right to the point. My appointment was brief, but I am doing much better with my migraines since seeing her.
