Dr. Ekaphol Wooden, DO

My family has been seeing this Dr for little over a year now. It has been problem after problem which has cost my family more than 1000$ in unneeded medical bills. He coded our family's blood work as general instead of yearly check up costing us 200$ a person, he sent my child out for a CT scan and used the wrong codes resulting in us having to go twice doubling my 500$ co-pay. The office didn't inform us to change him to our primary provider costing our family over 500$ in unpaid insurance claim. Communication it non-existent. We can never reach him and have even had to speak with other Doctors in the office to get answers. We are switching and I advise not to go with him in the first place. There are other doctors to choose from in this office. We went with him because he was the only doctor with immediate opening, I can see why.

He knew to look for a rare condition many others had missed as well as how to instruct the x-ray techs for a successful diagnosis- a life changing catch. He listens well and makes me feel like a partner in my care.

If you are even the slightest bit late to your appointment. He will not see you. In a world where I have been left waiting for hours in a waiting room for doctors. This guy is a piece of work. Refused to see me.

Dr. Wooden is a very caring dr. he wants to find the "problem" and fix it.

Dr Wooden is extremely thourough. I can’t believe some of the reviews on here. Dr Wooden is my primary care physician and I would not go any where else. These bad reviews must come from self proclaimed “google doctors” that think they know it all, or from people that are looking for a pain pill hook up. Before going to him, I had high BP and high cholesterol and other doctors couldn’t seem to find(or care to find) the right combination of medications for my needs. Dr wooden took the time out to run me through the circuit and find what worked best for my body and things I didn’t necessarily need to be taking into my body. He is NOT a pill pusher and believes in treating the cause not the symptoms. If you are looking for pills right out of the gate, go elsewhere. If you are looking for an avenue to better health, he is your guy. He has great bedside manner and is patient. Listens to the problems and goes from there. He also utilized multiple techniques for relieve from symptoms by… manipulation of joints etc. He truly is amazing!

I was given an appointment with Dr. Wooden since my regular PC doctor was to booked. Dr. Wooden was disinterested in my concerns and felt he needed to remind me that he was the doctor and had been to school to KNOW when something was a concern or not he wouldn't listen to the issues that I was worried about only interrupted me to tell me I wasn't experiencing those things. I was left to feel as though I was to stupid to know when or if I was feeling bad or not. I will not be seeing him again no matter how overbooked my regular PC may be.

I have seen Dr. Wooden on several occasions for adjustments. He has a nice light touch and uses opposing forces instead of cranking you around. He also suggests resources for exercises that are feasible and affordable. During each visit he was pleasant as well as informative.

I have only seen Dr Wooden once and am quite perplexed by reading the other reviews that were bad. I found him to be a good listener, attentive and not in a hurry to exit. He made eye contact with me and addressed my concerns. Until I have seen any kind of discord or bad manners, I think at this point I will continue seeing him. Also I would like to add that Regina in his office is also quite kind and returns calls quickly. Mea

This Dr. if you really want to call him that is rude, dismissive, an uncaring! He talks down to you an is condescending when speaking AT YOU, because he definately doesnt speak to you. While trying to explain my concerns he became argumentative an basically told me what I was saying was nonsense. I lft an went to another practice who treated me for an infection in my stomahe. I will never see this man again an I would never recommend hm to any of my friends or family! Maybe he should go back to scholl an learn more about compassion an concern for his patients.. Horrible experience! I am actually pretty sad that Midwestern Multispecialty Clinic seems to have really gone down hill through the years I am a long time patient of the clinic.. Well I WAS , I will no longer being using the Clinic for my health concerns moving forward!! It's pretty disheartening!

Dr Wooden knows his stuff! I had been dealing with a back pain issue that every other Doctor wanted to mask with pain killers instead of helping me get back to health and doing my normal activities. I will say it was not easy or pain free but here I am today several months later good as new!
