Dr. Elaine Rose Feraru, MD

She is absolutely awful. I went today with 3 brain hemorrhages. She said she wanted to try several months of different meds. I asked if it could get worse, her response, well yeah, okay so what do I do when it gets really bad, I guess just keep going to the ER, how long with the medication take to work, I don’t have a magic wand I don’t know, Are you kidding me?!? I couldn’t speak for her cutting me off and then she would go, oh were you saying something, what she prescribed I looked up when I got home. It’s an anti depressant that specifically says increases cranial bleeding! Do not take if you have bleeding on the brain!! I was honestly thinking she was joking for something, I have never had a Dr so rude, unfriendly, and just down right not care at all. She honestly acted like a bored high school student in biology class. It was a joke. Truly astonishing and I would never recommend her for anything let alone a neurologist. She’s going to end up with a lawsuit eventually.

My symptoms/labs all point to a condition. My physician sent a message to Dr. Feraru (who I’ve seen before) explaining everything and asking if I could be seen soon. She informed my physician that I did not have this condition. Said I am too young to have this condition. I’ve looked the condition up and yes, it says it’s rare in younger patients but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible and she should just write it off that I don’t have it. As a patient dealing with some scary issues this is not comforting to be pushed to the side as if everything is ok because I am “too young” for this to be something serious. Going to be switching to another neurologist.

We waited 4 months to see this doctor & were very disappointed in her demeanor & level of care. She seemed to disregard our concerns.

My grandfather has been seeing Dr. Feraru for a couple of years with difficulty walking and back pain. I found out today from ANOTHER hospital that he has a bulging disc and nerve injury that he has been dealing with for A YEAR without any help treating it and he also knew nothing about the injury. If you can see ANY other provider, do. Find someone who cares about your well being (ex. Dr. Tonuzi) and will make sure your problems are improving, not getting worse.

If not for Dr. Feraru, I would not be able to walk today. Through all these years, she has ALWAYS been patient, even through my complaints; she has been knowledgeable, keeping up with the latest research; and she has been kind--qualities one would hope for in a physician.

She is very mean and cold you can;t ask questions or you will get attiude.Very Cold

Can I do Zero Stars??? I came there with my Brother who has M.S. She did not greet or speak to me or ask who I am, my brother can't speak so she was asking him questions and then he did not answer clearly she asked me I said oh now you are talking to me. I asked her about a special Diet or food that my brother can eat that might help, she said blunt No, thereis no special diet for M.S. I also gave her papers two weeks ahead of time to get my brother help from the state and to get Rehab help. She looked at the paper work and said "You could have filled this out" RUDE. then she gave it back.( What if I could not read or write( I can I have a degree). I got down stairs and saw the part that said doctor sign was not signed... Then she said he has JC Virus I was never told that before so I asked Can I have some info on it and this woman ( Not Doctor) said you can look it up on the internet. (I was hot) she should not be a Doctor at all, SHE IS RUDE.

I've put up with her for the last few years so I'm not entering this review due to just one visit. She has lied to me multiple times, she so focused on sleep studies it's all she will talk about, I'm guessing she owns the sleep practice. I've always tried to be involved with my healthcare, and she told me that was not my business - I said, what? She repeated it, saying that was her job and I needed to trust her. I've seen bad doctors before, but she has the very worst dr I've ever, ever been to. Last item, she is extremely spiteful, if you question anything, she will lash out, then send you for a useless test.

She's is rude and cold. She seems to have a God complex. She is not up to date on current protocols and she is EXTREMELY close minded. She DOES NOT return calls. Her patients health is NOT a priority for her. Not sure how Cornerstone can have a thriving practice if they continue to hire so called "providers" like this woman. If you can find ANYONE else on the planet to treat you....run to them. RUN FAST! There have been multiple complaints to the board about her but she is very stuck in her old methodology and refuses to open her mind and ears. Other patients and physicians are in total agreement in these opinions. We have to drive 2 hours one way to see someone else now and every minute on the road and every penny spent on gasoline is well worth it to no longer have her as the "provider." If you sit quietly while waiting to see her, you'll hear other patients and staff venting their frustrations about her. Her retirement from practicing medicine is long overdue.
