Dr. Eleanor Fisher Von Stade, MD

I suffered a compound fracture in my left clavicle accompanied by five fractured ribs. I left the ER at 9:00 PM and was scheduled to see Dr. von Stade at 8:00 AM the following morning. I had just buried my son the day before and I was emotionally and physically distraught when I met Dr. von Stade for the first time. She was so genuinely sincere and empathetic as she comforted me, that I noticed tears well up in her eyes as she expressed the deepest care and concern for my well-being. She was articulate, technical, detail oriented and compassionate all at the same time. It was self evident that she was a true consummate professional and an outstanding physician. She arranged her schedule to get me in to surgery post haste. Her team was every bit as impressive as she was - providing detailed explanations of all aspects of the upcoming procedures. She was meticulous and precise with every incision, each plate that was set and every screw that secured it - an incredibly skilled… surgeon. The follow-up contact and care provided by Dr. von Stade and her team was the best I have ever experienced. I was told by my primary care physician that she was one of The best orthopedic surgeons out there. After experiencing her talent first hand I can understand why he told me that - because she has worked for, earned and deserves that recognition.
