Dr. Gelfand has been my cardiologist for several years. His knowledge and professionalism is second to none. He takes the time to listen and when he says he will contact you with results of a test etc, you can be sure he will. Dr. Gelfand is the best, hands down!

a cardiologist with no ego problems...if he doesn't have the scientific basis for an opinion he doesn't make up an answer to save face

Dr.Gelfand is not only brilliant doctor, very knowledgeable, very experienced and widely educated, but very good human being! He feels his patient’s state and problem from first moment of appointment. We are very satisfied and thankful him for good care about us! Alex and Julie Gorin.

Dr. G is the leading cardiologist at beth israel and is their practice director. he is in high demand, but invariably punctual, prepared and courteous. my mother had severe congestive heart failure for and Dr. G guided her gently through many ups and downs with grace and understanding. he even made two home visits when my mom was too ill to come to the hospital to see him.

Dr. Gelfand, even at his relatively yound age, is one of the top cardiologists in New England... and probably the country. He's personable yet straight forward and his diagnosis is spot on. I just can't say enough great things about him and his team.

Known to be one of the best heart specialists in Boston. No personal experience with any other cardiologists, but he has kept me alive for 4 years now after a near-death experience.
