Dr. Eliana Yael Berger, MD

Dr. Berger has been my endocrinologist for the last several years and she has helped me so much with my thyroid issues and helping me figure out the other hormonal issues that have been affecting my body. She is someone who wants to help you figure out the root causes and gives you the best care. Sometimes, it’s really hard to find doctors who genuinely cares but I assure you, she is one of them. Would highly recommend!

The employees Jackie and Catrina are outrageously hostile, abusive, and full of rage. I would not be safe being serviced by these monsters who are hateful, unethical, immoral, and despicable. For safety concerns, I reject to see Eliana Y. Berger at her hostile environment. Strongly NOT recommend this unsafe place to anyone!

Doctor is knowledgeable but has a big time attitude. Very dry and almost robotic.

I really don't get all these bad reviews, and who cares if she brings in a laptop to the exam! To me that means she has an accurate record on the case. I have been seeing Dr. Berger for over two years as I have Hashimotos and have been in the middle of IVF. My thyroid spiked on three occasions, and she helped to move me to synthroid from generic and to increase my dose so that my TSH was low enough to sustain a pregnancy. I am now in my second trimester! Dr. Berger was genuinely happy for me and really was looking for how to address the thyroid problems. My only gripe- and this applies to all endos- is unwillingness to consider other causes for thyroid problems. I am pretty sure eating gluten has been very bad for me, and that caused a problem with the thyroid. I also was consuming heavy green tea which I think was a problem, and only learned of these issues from alternative sites. But as for as a traditional endocrinologist, I have been quite happy with Dr. Berger!

Dr. Eileen Burger is knowledgeable, caring good doctor. For the diabetes, Her office assistant Oivia Returns the lab result call, and follows my prescription refill through insurance chages & willingly wrote several pre-authorization letters. God Bless them

I have to agree with the other reviewers. She is very dry, by the book and refuses to look at the whole picture in regard to your health . Staff is equally boring as well. I went to another endocrinologist and he was much more engaging and was willing to look at more than hormone numbers by the book. I only go there because I don't have time to keep finding new doctors.

Condescending, disrespectful of patient's time. Sits on lab reports and does not follow up with patients on results.

I tried to avoid seeing Dr. Schenk because I found her inhumane on one occasion, but my insurance switched me to her. I have several hormonal issues, but Dr. Schenk doesn't want to treat them all, just one. She doesn't care for the whole picture. Whenever I talk about my other hormonal issues, she changes the subject to the only one she wants to treat. I even told her that for that problem I wanted to try a natural hormone and she told me that she wasn't going to prescribe it and to find another doctor to do it. How inhumane, rude and what a closed mind. She is not interested in the patient and she doesn't listen, She goes by the book, the Synthetic Drug Book.

The doctor was typing and looking at her lap top the entire time she was in the room. It seemed she was only concerned about completing the questionnaires on the screen, even though the questions did NOT apply to my situation and condition. At the end of the visit when I asked her about the proper use of Insulin pre-filled syringes, she was condescending and seemed bothered. I switched to another Endocrinologist right away.
