Dr. Eliot Julian Lewit, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Lewit for years, and I’m very happy with his skills and expertise. As a hard-to-treat, chronic migraine patient, Dr. Lewit has been with me every step of the way. He is up-to-date on new treatments, studies, and current best practices in the field. He explains why something may or may not be a good route for me to try. Living with chronic pain is trying on your psyche and quality of life, but Dr. Lewit is always in my corner. He systematically tries new things when method after method continues to evade relief. There aren’t many headache specialists in the Greensboro area, but I’ve been to one other (as well as plenty of family doctors) and wasn’t happy with my treatment. Chronic pain is hard to treat and in my opinion, can instill doubt in a doctor’s mind of a patient’s honesty. Dr. Lewit has never displayed this kind of behavior. I feel relieved that I don’t have to convince someone treating me that I am genuinely in pain. I would recommend Dr. Lewit… whole heartily.

This doctor is one of the best that I have been to in many years! He is thorough, intelligent, caring and a Great diagnostician! He can find problems the patient did not know he/she had! I always wanted him as my main health provider but unfortunately he limited himself to his specialty! I highly recommend him!!!

Very impersonal and condescending. Very poor bedside manner. Receptionist and medical assistant very very nice. They should give the doc some lessons!

Doctor did not let me complete my information sheet before conducting test. Poor decisions made by the doctor. Did not listen to me. Did not conduct test properly.

Very good experience with this doctor. He was very thorough in answering all my questions, and I did not feel like I was being rushed through my appointment. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
