Dr. Elisa Danielle Lansdowne, MD

this woman delivered my baby and did not care. She did not listen and she lied in the medical records. My son is no longer alive and she is the first step of the reason why. stay far away as you can of this woman.

Dr. Lansdowne is your run of the mill doctor who will not be interested in addressing your personal issues. She is of the opinion that you can’t be suffering from side effects from birth control because the research doesn’t support that. Her bedside manner is cold and uncaring. More of a “get in, get out” approach to medicine. Women deserve better than this.

Dr. Lansdowne is a brilliant and amazing surgeon. She did my laparoscopic robotic myomectomy and a few months later removed an ovarian cyst and scar tissue causing other issues. She’s extremely caring, listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She knows I want to do IVF so she did everything she could to preserve and/or improve my fertility. Any other doctor would have insisted on giving me a hysterectomy. She’s very hands on with patients. Even came to get me herself from the waiting room for my pre-op appt. She called me the day after my surgery on a Saturday to make sure I was doing well. When I was hospitalized after one surgery, she checked on me regularly and again called me at home after I was discharged. She’s humble and very thoughtful especially for a doctor that performs at such a high level. She has been a true blessing in my life.

Dr. Landsdowne is a brilliant surgeon who exudes confidence. So grateful for her expertise.

I totally agree with the 5 star reviewer "DR. LANSDOWNE - EXCELLENT OBGYN" I'm currently pregnant with twins and from my first appointment Dr. Lansdowne has been honest,patient and very kind. She addresses all my questions and concerns. Before I found out I was having twins, I was considered "high risk" and Dr. Lansdowne explained to me the risk and procedures that would need to take place in order to continue my pregnancy safely. I'm currently taking medication to keep my contractions down and Dr. Lansdowne explained the purpose of the medication and its side effects. She also preformed my cervical clerage procedure and I was so delighted to see her the day of surgery because I knew I was in safe hands. I have visited labor and delivery multiple times and I TRULY get upset when she is not there because I have had some bad experiences with other doctors. Doctors who had given me Norco because they were sure it would "calm my uterus down" and stop the contractions. I was sent home by… another doctor on staff with contractions that were 2min apart, but "normal". Dr. Lansdowne always takes extra steps to make sure me and my babies are okay before she sent us home. I truly appreciate her commitment to her patients and her work ethics. If your looking for a doctor to sugar coat everything and throw rose pedals at your feet I suggest you go to school and become a doctor because I would prefer Dr. Lansdowne to give it to me straight and be 100% honest with me than some candy coated high off caffeine unreliable doctor.

Terrible experience! Dr elisa is a rude and loud doctor, did not listen to me, rushed and mean to assisting nurse. Did not answer my questions. Gave me medication and did not tell me about side effects, had to look it up myself. Now scheduling a new appointment for a second opinion

I was truly surprised to read the last reviewer's comments because it was Dr. Lansdowne's initial concern for me and my baby that led me to coming back to her for surgery as I encountered difficulty after the pregnancy.At the first appointment, I showed up late in the afternoon, a half hour after the appointment. Dr. Lansdowne assured me it was no probem and we didn't finish until after 6PM and I'm sure she got out of there much later. The history she took was thorough. During my pregnancy, although I had no symptoms, Dr. Lansdowne identified something called bacteral vaginosis. She treated it immediately and further tests indicated that it went away. Additionally, I called once complaining about itching and a discharge. She saw me the next day evaluated my symptoms, gave me medication and called me several days later to see how I was doing.When I was getting ready to deliver, a week before my due date, my contractions started coming about 4 minutes apart and my husband rushed me… to the hospital. Dr Lansdowne was working that night. They placed a monitor on my abdomen to check the contractions and hear the baby's heart rate. They checked my cervix dilation which was not as large as they wanted it. A lot of time passed but I gave birth the next afternoon. Dr. Lansdowne was friendly, even loving, and I'm definitely seeing her again. I came back a few weeks later because I was leaking urine; Dr. Lansdowne performed the surgery. Again I found her bedside manner wonderful. It's been 5 months since the surgery and I'm very happy with the results.
