Dr. Elisabeth Lynn Dupont, MD

I had a difficult case of cancer and she didn't patronize me. She gave the information I needed to fight it. She was respectful, honest and competent. Made me feel confident and a difficult time.

This year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and recently had a double mastectomy. We are beyond grateful and pleased with our wonderful surgeons, Dr. Ferguson (Plastic Surgery) and Dr. Dupont (Breast Cancer Surgeon). This dynamic duo has been incredible! Both Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Dupont, and their office staff, are kind, accessible, patient with questions and have walked every step of the way with us through this breast cancer journey. I highly recommend both of these amazing Watson Clinic Surgeons!!

How a doctor can have a successful career without tact, respect, empathy, or manners is beyond my comprehension.I attended a consult with my mom. My mom really wanted me to meet her and understand what was going on, always good to have an extra set of ears to absorb information. Dr. Dupont introduced herself and then basically belittled me, telling me I was overweight. I wasn't even her patient! I was completely taken aback that she would scold me or treat me with such disrespect. Well, I can fix my weight...but she will have a much harder time fixing her ugly soul. How dare Watson Clinic allow her to run such a facility. She tarnishes their name with her ill manners and lack of tact. There are ways to approach a patient or their family and explain precautions or dangers to someone. I don't care how good of a surgeon she is, which even that seems questionable based on reviews, a doctors job is to earn trust and build a working relationship with patients prior to that surgery. I would… assume that someone with a doctorite would know and understand this concept but I suppose that is more internal and not something that can be taught out of a book. Personally, I would never lend her my trust.

Insisted on opening up my grandmother and left her open for 5.5 hours. Her cancer spread rapidly. She’s targeting that insurance money. She was billing the insurance before she even went to appointments. GET A SECOND OPINION!

My husband and I were very impressed with the thorough consultation that Dr. Dupont gave us. Her caring attitude erased doubts and fear that I originally had about my cancer diagnosis. My husband and I are very optimistic and at ease after sampling the care that this Dr. and team has to offer. Every question and concern answered; I truly believe she has my back on this, as she said she did. Thank you Dr. Dupont, and also thanks to your team of friendly and caring professionals.

She is a very caring , giving,good dr and person

Seemed to be caring and competent but had some major questionable moments. Not a fan of her policy of not allowing family/spouses in the exam room. I needed all of the support I could get, as well as extra ears, to take in everything so this was a problem. On day of my surgery, I showed up only to find out that I was scheduled for a mastectomy instead of the lumpectomy I had been told for weeks was the plan, which was quite a shock and made an already stressful, traumatic situation even worse. Was also told my surgery would be in the morning only to find it was not until 5pm, so we had to wait around and agonize all day, and then I had to spend the night in the hospital because my surgery was so late, which I was not prepared for and had not brought any clothing, supplies, etc. I am still in recovery and will be having reconstructive surgery so we'll see how things proceed.

I had what I call an odd experience with this doctor. I can’t judge her as a surgeon, but her communication tactics were so derogatory, and she acted like she had no time, or care to answer any serious questions. I think she likes to act out her feelings toward you by getting right into your face, rather than being genuine with her comments. She had my medical history wrong, which made me feel uneasy with her, and her whole demeanor towards me as a patient seemed uncaring. I just hope she’s more accurate using her surgical skills. I never had a doctor act like this to me, - so was disappointed.

This doctor does not take time with her patients like she should.

I have a lot to say but I will not post all of it. I will be reporting her to the Head of Watson Clinic
