Dr. Elissa Margaret Gretz-Friedman, MD

my sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. dr. friedman continued to have me take a sonogram once a year. I left her because of the difficulty of obtaining an appointment and the front desk management. this literally saved my life because the next dr. I went to told me that I should have 2 sonograms a year due to my sisters cancer. I was 3 months past the time for the second. the new Dr.promptly sent me for an ovarian sonogram. As a result I had to have surgery. I had papillary serous carcinoma...a rapidly growing uterine cancer. the Dr. told me had I waited for just the next yearly sonogram,in 3 months I would have gone from a stage1b to3 or 4 with little he could do. I am in remission...no thanks to Dr. friedman.

She is a great doctor. Makes you feel comfortable. She is a breath of fresh air. Recently she's gone on a personal leave and I am upset because the office did not notify any of her patients. It takes a long time to get comfortable with a doctor and in order to have your annual, you are forced to see someone else and you aren't sure if they are any good. That is my only complaint. And the staff (receptionists) are rude.

i am very happy with her care and she does call back promptly; she also focuses on the "older cohort"- but she only works a total of 1 1/2 days a week ( 3 1/2 days) so if you're in trouble, that's not a great system-

Dr. Gretz is caring, very professional.I have a very complicated case, but she supports me and definetly helps me to go through tough times.Sandra

Dr Gretz-Friedman is exceptionally professional with great bedside manner. I would highly recommend her.
