Dr. Elizabeth E Goodman, OD

This was the worst experience I have had in long time at a Doctor's office. It began with the secretary, who was very cold, unprofessional ( talking about my medical condition very loudly) and just plain nonchalant. I could tell that it was not going to be a warm and fuzzy experience when the Doctor came out of a room and walked right by me without speaking or even acknowledging that I was present. Once she, (yes I try to patronize), however, this was a mistake. So, once she called me into the room she just began doing stuff, no introduction, nothing, while displaying a look of disgust. I was so humiliated! I tried to engage her into conversation and pleasantries and she did warm up a little, but I could tell that it was forced. I should have done my research! I was so excited to have found, not only a female, but one that was conveniently close to me, so that I did not have to take a lot of time off work driving to my appointment. Well, let my experience be a lesson to you, do not… sacrifice quality for convenience. I am 63 yrs old and I recognize racism when it rears its ugly head. Thank you!
