Dr. Elizabeth Ann Yaple, MD

A native of Johnson City, NY, Dr. Yaple graduated from Ithaca College in New York. She went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2003. At Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine she completed her internship and residency in 2006. She continued on at VCU School of Medicine as the Pediatric Chief Resident and an Instructor in Foundations of Clinical Medicine. She is a Board Certified physician at The American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Yaple is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor. She has been named a Certified Asthma Educator by the American Lung Association. Dr. Yaple has served on several committees such as the Pediatric Residency Selection Committee as well as the Residency Recruitment and Steering Committees. She has been an advocate in the community by serving on many area events, such as Reach Out and Read, Read and Romp, …teaching AIDS information to high school students as well as many others. Her honors and awards are Dean's Letter of Commendation at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, Sigma Xi, Phi Kappa Phi, and Ithaca College Oracle Society honoring outstanding academic achievement. She began in private practice in 2007.
