Dr. Ella I Remenson, MD

I was a 45 year old man that had undetected diabetes and uncontrolled high blood pressure. My bloodwork showed an A1C of over 10.1. Dr. Remenson took the time to explain the pro's and con's of all available treatments, which including life style changes, not just medication. We agreed upon a plan which over time brought my A1C level to within a normal range. Previous doctors labeled me with 'white coat syndrome' and never addressed my dangerously high blood pressure. Dr. Remenson took the time explained some possibilities of what could be causing it and a plan was designed to assist me in lowering my blood pressure. You would never of been able to tell physically what my body was doing on the inside and if it wasn't for Dr. Remenson's expert medical knowledge, patience and persistence for my medical care, I may not be here today. Myself, wife and daughter are eternity grateful for Dr. Remenson and her staff.

I had the absolute worst experience with Dr. Ella Remenson. From start to finish, it felt less like receiving medical care and more like being pushed into an expensive sales pitch. After determining that I needed what she described as a life-or-death treatment, Dr. Remenson immediately began using scare tactics to pressure me into agreeing to a $1,500 per year, out-of-pocket treatment instead of an insurance-covered oral medication. She told me that patients who chose the oral medication often delayed dental care due to side effects, and when they finally sought treatment, they would fall and die. According to her, only her $1,500 treatment could save me. Initially, I agreed, but after some thought, I decided against the invasive procedure because I am uncomfortable with needles and surgery. I called to cancel the surgery and requested the oral medication instead. Shockingly, she refused to prescribe it unless I either came back into the office or scheduled a Zoom call. This was just… days after my last visit—what could possibly have changed in that short time that a Zoom call would diagnose? It was clear to me that this was just another attempt to extract more money: another $50 co-pay, additional insurance billing, and yet another opportunity to hard-sell her $1,500 treatment plan. In my opinion, this kind of behavior borders on insurance fraud. When I refused to proceed with her $1,500 plan, she effectively fired me as a patient, refusing to provide further treatment unless I complied with her demands for another appointment. As someone who travels frequently for work, this added unnecessary stress and delays to receiving medical care. Dr. Ella Remenson isn't saving lives; she's acting like a used car salesman, preying on fear to scare Americans into spending exorbitant amounts of money on treatments.

If you want to be rushed, treated with disrespect and charged for a visit every time you need a prescription refill, then this is the doctor for you!

Dr. Ella Remenson is outstanding. She takes the time to listen and evaluate you, as a patient, as opposed to a number in her file. In other words, she treats the whole you and is able to quarterback your health care.

My wife and I have been patients for years. She saved my life 3 years ago. I was having chest tightness. All heart tests were normal. Because she listened to me, she insisted I go for MRI of coronary arteries that day and wait for her to call me with results. My arteries were completely blocked. I needed quadruple bypass. If I had waited, I probably would have had fatal heart attack. She is wise, compassionate and takes the time to hear you. Her staff is great, too. She doesn't overbook, so wait time is minimal. Dr Ella Remenson is an incredible physician. She is thoughtful, patient and very thorough. Her patient's care is of utmost importance to her. She is always there for you in an emergency. She came out to our car to check on the status of my leg after a fall; not wanting me to come into the office in case I needed to be hospitalized. What more can I say!! Oh yes! Her staff is also incredible!! So kind and helpful.

Dr Remenson and her Staff is by far the BEST! Dr Remenson not only listen but actually care. She has a very calming disposition and gentle approach. She get to the core of the problem and address each situation with excellent results. I have had my share of Physicians but Dr Remenson is one of a kind...a rare jewel. Her staff is courteous, respectful, and kind. They make you feel like one big family and the office has a cozy effect.

Unfortunately this office is unorganized and unprofessional and a danger to your health. They called in a double dose of my Prescription. I called and asked them to speak to Dr Remenson as the dose did not seem correct and to call me back. The office NEVER called me back. I called the office several times and was either hung up upon, or put on hold until the phone disconnected. I lost 18 pounds in a month on the double dose. When I had my visit Dr Remenson said "Don't worry, the weight would all come back!" It did not. Subsequently I had a Thyroid and Cholesterol test and they had both been negatively impacted. Who knows what else that was not tested was negatively impacted by the wrong dosage and extreme weight loss. Then I needed knee surgery and they put my chest xray in a different patient's chart and Dr. Remenson told me I would have to delay my surgery since they could not find the xray and the EKG from my Heart Dr. He had written a letter clearing me for the knee… surgery but she thought she knew more than a Cardiologist. Before leaving the office I asked the receptionist if I had signed everything they needed to get the test results Dr. Remenson needed for surgery and she said yes. I then drove to my Cardiologist and they gave me the EKG when I received a call from the receptionist that she "forgot" to get me to sign something and to please drive back. I drove back and gave her the EKG and then had the Hospital send Dr. Remenson a duplicate copy of my chest xray which they annotated had been sent to her office a week before. Go somewhere else.
