Let my father leave her office with stage 4 cancer , shows little to no concern for you with her cold attitude. We are taking him elsewhere. She never follows up , you have TO CHASE her down for help.

She is outstanding in her field. The most intelligent and compassionate doctor I know. She has this way of making you feel that she is your biggest supporter and she has a genuine enthusiastic attitude towards your care and success. She should teach a class to doctors on proper bedside manner. Perfect.

When I needed 2 operations performed in last 3 years, my surgeon invited Dr. Gustafson to coordinate the hematology part of my care planning. During both pre-operative office consultations, I was very impressed with how thoroughly she reviewed my past medical & surgical history. Her exclusive focus was on creating the best hematology plan to promote rapid recovery after each inpatient procedure. I looked forward to every communication with this MD because Dr. Gustafson delivers outstanding care using words, terms and instructions that patients can easily understand. Some MDs know 'best clinical practices' but Dr. Gustafson consistently implements such protocols when treating her patients 24/7.
