Dr. Ellen June Marder, MD

I began seeing Dr. Marder for several symptoms that my primary physician believed to be neurological. After seeing her in her office and breaking down into tears out of the frustration about me health, she told me “You are to pretty to have anything wrong with you!”.. I was appalled. Later, after pressing her, she ordered and MRI on my brain and literally rolled her eyes as she was saying she would... tell me the only thing it could possible be was MS but she highly doubted there would be findings. Come to find that my MRI revealed a lemon sized mass on my frontal lobe that was reshaping the skull and putting pressure on my brain - I had surgery within a few weeks at Barrow in AZ within a few weeks. Post op I was experiencing seizures and was seeing Dr. Marder for seizure medication maintenance and in one appointment I had a seizure while she was present, my friend who accompanied me because I couldn’t drive or be alone due to seizures, said that dr. marder only stared and did not try… to help and that I hit my head and feel on the floor. I wanted to report her and I should’ve however she retired within a month after that. She’s saved a lot of people undue hurt and mistreatment by retiring. I’ve never had such a horrible practitioner in my life... sad when you think doctors are in the profession of helping people and yet that didn’t seem to be on her radar at the least. If I could give a zero, I would.

One of the best doctors I've seen. Highly knowledgeable, listened carefully, seemed to have good judgment, included me in decisions.
