Dr. Elliot Marc Sacks, MD

Dr. Sacks is one of the most personable, insightful persons on the planet, as well as medical professionals. I've known him for many years and finally found him hiding in Federal Way. I always knew he'd make an excellent Radiologist, even before he became one and working as a PCP. Apparently he hasn't lost the touch, his personality and dedication make for a great combination of bedside manner. In fact, I recall his telling me he was going to become a radiologist. He did and I knew he'd be great. I was right! I've told my friends in the area to contact him since I'm no longer there and I hope they do for their own sake. Although I have relocated, I will continue to seek his services because I know how difficult it is to find a person/doctor of his caliber. He was also a good military man which has also carried over into his profession.

I went in to the Women's Center at Mission Hospital a bit anxious about my upcoming needle biopsy but the minute Dr. Sacks walked into the procedure room, he set me at ease. He's so personable, our conversation completely took my mind off of what I was going through. The procedure went without a hitch & he explained everything he was doing. From the get-go, he told me what he saw was likely a cyst & when he inserted the biopsy needle, it popped, affirming it. While they recommend putting an ice pack & an ace bandage around the puncture site, I felt it was unnecessary. The next morning, I got a phone call from him & when I asked how he was doing, he said, "Well, you're fine!" They're lucky to have him! If I ever need another needle biopsy, I'll be requesting him, for certain!
