Eloy Ochoa JR.

My total knee replacement was done by Dr Eloy Ochoa yesterday. Dr Ochoa did an excellent job at preparing me for my surgery. He explained everything that was going to happen before and after surgery. I was sent a step by step guide to prepare for surgery. Having been prepared prior to that day I didn't get too nervous. My nurses Kim and Michelle were great. Thank you Dr Eloy Ochoa for performing my total knee replacement.

Dr Ocha and the clinic staff were polite, thorough and effective! My top 3 requirements. I had Xrays and a consultation within an hour and was out with a prescription and follow up appointment scheduled in about 1.5 hours. (I had mentally allocated 2 hours so WIN! The clinic waiting room and clinical room I was in was comfortable and clean!

Dr. Ochoa review I wish I had a good patient experience, but I did not. Dr. Ochoa seemed pretty nice on the one short visit I had with him. However dealing with Dena, his Clinical Coordinator, it was not a pleasant experience at all. She gave me a hard time about filling out paperwork for Medical Leave with my job. This form was just to excuse me from work, with unpaid absences. Because they do not provide accommodations if you are not fit for duty. I had to talk to her on three separate occasions just to get them to finally assist me with filling out this form, so I wouldn’t lose my job. She also seemed to give me attitude it wasn’t pleasant as I would expect from healthcare staff because I went to get my MRI at the place my insurance told me to go to. Dr. Ochoa’s office scheduled me at their Concord location, but my insurance told me I had to go to another location. I felt she gave me attitude because I didn’t use their location, as if I made that decision. I did what my insurance… told me to do. After my MRI, she was like, “Well since you used a place out of our network if you don’t bring the MRI CD and report we will just cancel your appointment. I informed her I had those things. After contemplating how I felt I was being treated, I cancelled my follow up with them. I rather find a doctor and support staff that care about my medical needs and any needs related to my current circumstance. I did not feel welcomed or respected. I initially picked Dr. Ochoa because I saw he worked at Balboa hospital before in San Diego. Being a retired veteran, I thought it would be a good fit. It was not a good fit at all. I was very disappointed in how I felt I was treated.

Very well organized group. Courteous n professional telling you wants being done every step of the way. Dr Ochoa performed an excellent scope surgery shoulder. Letting me before and after what was going to be done and what was actually surgically performed. Thanks dr.Ochoa

Dr. Ochoa is very professional in his work as a patient. I have had a very good experience with the doctor and his entire team, they make you feel comfortable and very well cared for by everyone.

Dr lies on his medical report. Said he checked cardiac stuff on me which he did not. He said I walked normally with no gait issues and no type of assistant devices but I have uses a cane or other devices for three years. He never asked me to walk for him. Can't trust Dr who lies on reports to gett paid better.

Dr Ochoa, does an excellent job of explaining the problem and your options for treatments. Very professional and staff who assist also very professional.

Knowledgable doctor and great staff. I would recommend Dr. Ochoa if you need an orthopedic doctor.
