Dr. Elvira Kamenetsky, MD

The most unprofessional doctor with no knowledge of neurology. She prescribed a cardiac/blood lowering medication which required a call to 911, and an addictive opiod for a migrane with dizziness, which I came in with. She administered an injection with a serious side effect of constipation, and explicitly said there were no side effects. The side effects require me to be homebound. My other doctors were shocked and told me not to take anything she prescribes. These were visits by a young and otherwise healthy woman to a doctor to treat dizziness

Dr. Kamenetsky is horrible, she wasted my time coming to her office only to tell me she no longer treats patients with my condition. But yet and still she drew blood, of course only so she could bill my insurance. Of course, if English was NOT my native language, I would have been treated much better. She also did not listen to a single word I spoke when explaining current medical conditions I am experiencing and erroneously stated the cause of test results; but had she been listening to me, THE PATIENT, perhaps she would have been stating facts as opposed to an uneducated guess. She has been "treating" me for the past several years and has only gotten worse over time. I would never recommend her to anyone and already submitted a complaint with the NYU Board against her, as well as with my insurance company.

The doctor is excellent she was informative and took her time in explaining any concern we have it was comfortable and at easy during entire visit she is one of the most nicest caring doctor I have ever come across she is warm, caring and well trained. The most important goal as a doctor that Dr. Kamenetsky listen to patient, help them and provide a comprehensive care.The staff was very pleasant and helpful I would highly recommended I will absolutely be returning. Thank you so much !!!
