Dr. Elyse Lynn Michelson, MD

This Doctor is all about money and how many times her staff can make you more appointments to get more from your pockets... very poor patient - Doctor\Staff relations. A very nasty Staff.

First and foremost the lady who answers the phone is rude and clearly hates her job. I called as a new patient, was placed on hold for many minutes and then I had to reexplain my circumstances. I received my appt. and her attitude was just the same upon leaving. Dr. Michelson was short and curt at my visit as well. I waited atleast 25 minutes and only spent a fraction of my wait time with the physician. Because of both the receptionist and physicians lack of compassion and care, I will not return.

Elyse L Michelson, MD is not a doctor that you want to see if you want to be treated with respect! She is condescending, arrogant, no manners, she seems to like chastising her patients. God forbid you should see another doctor, she gets very indifferent and refuses to discuss the problem. The office gets blood work totally missed up. No one will ever let you know that a prescription was called in. You cannot speak to a real person; you can only leave a message. They may or may not call you back.I will never step foot in her office again. This doctor was the worst; I have ever had the chance to meet. She is not a professional!

I had been to many, many doctors who were unable to find out what the problems I was having were. Dr. Michelson took the time, effort and patience to look, diagonose and treat the problem. I found her to be professional, caring and thorough. I have seen her twice and have been very impressed.

It was easy for me to schedule a visit and the Dr notate all my concerns deeply and spent about an hour or more and did not rush me at all. The problem is that she has a very bad temper and she is very rude. She has no manner and she yelled at me for consulting a specialty physician. unbelievable. never been yelled at a Dr before.

The office staff is nasty, if you try to refill a prescription you call them talk to a machine-no calls you back - if you are eligible for the prescription - they call it in and you have to check with the Pharmacy to see if they have your prescription. It is an unknown. The environment is not welcoming-it is so non-personal, if you want to be treated like your time is valuable, or like you are worthy do not go to this doctor. It is an assembly line, and not caring AT ALL!

Went to her about pain in shoulder, was sent to PT, with no effect, PT and Michelson did not compare info., found out 4 months later (after having to beg for MRI)that I had torn rotator cuff tendon. Had been in extreme pain, and no one listened or wanted to order the ONE picture that could have been done first, saving me and the insurance company hundreds of dollars and a lot of my time.
