Dr. Emanuel Gottenger, MD

Tells me and shows me on the monitor what going on with my bladder. His nurse is also compassionate.

I had an appointment with Dr Gottenger for 11:15 on Nov 21st. On Nov 20th I receive a call confirming the appointment. At 9:am on the 21st I receive a call stating that Dr Gottenger had a family emergency & would it be ok to be seen by another doctor. I replied ok. I was also told that the time would remain the same. Naturally my co-pay was immediately taken. After sitting around for about an hour I asked one of the nurses when would I see a doctor...I was told "immediately". Fifteen minutes I told that nurse I was going to leave. She told a doctor & he responded "Let Him Leave". I had seen numerous patients arriving after me being seen before me & leaving...They will not see me again....Not that they care...

Dr. Gottenger was our fathers urologist for over 10 years. Our dad recently passed away at the age of 96. We had him for several years longer than expected due to Dr. G's skill and compassion. When doctors were doing test upon test, he knew just what Dad needed emotionally and medically. Dr. G always returned our calls and included us in decision making as well as being honest with us. We so appreciate the kind of person and doctor you are.

It had been many years since I had a cystoscopy. I just remembered how painful it had been. I was very nervous about the pending procedure. All my anxiety was for nothing as Dr. Gottenger is exceptionally skilled and I felt no pain at all. The staff at Advanced Urology is always very competent and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Gottenger and Advanced Urology.
