Great doctor! Listened and answered all my questions

Dr. Elli was provided CT Scan results on CD and written report showing enlarged hernia. Instead of performing necessary surgery he waited weeks doing additional test that resulted in emergency after the hernia pushed my stomach through the chest wall. Even after he performed surgery the GERD was not fixed and I was dismissed from Mayo Clinic seven days from scheduled surgery by him. He does not put his patient needs before his own. He could have done the surgery as scheduled but he said any surgeon could perform the surgery. As I have severe asthma, finding a surgeon isn't easy. They all keep referring me to Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville.

Dr. Elli doesn’t take time to listen to his patients. This is even after waiting over two hours for him to finish in the OR and get to his clinic patients. I felt that he should “exam” the patient instead of “looking at the numbers”.

Dr. Elli is patient, compassionate, and I actually feel like he cares about me and now I am feeling more comfortable about my upcoming surgery.

Dr Elli and his staff are amazing. I'm always treated great. They are all so friendly. He is very accessible and wil spend time answering any questions. He always remembers my name when I come in, so does his staff. I can't say enough good things about him.
