I have been going to see dr umpierre for many years and I have also referred people to go see him. I agree with others about what they say about Dr Umpierre. He is compassionate and he listens and cares and will do what ever he can to help make his patients feel better. I like him because he is not your average pain doctor that just keeps giving you more and more meds. I have still been coming to him even though he does not take my Insurance anymore and that says something. His staff has always been great too.

I am always treated with respect and concern by staff and Dr Umpierre. He is consistently on point with COVID protocol and I do feel safe going into his office.

I have been Dr Umpierre’s patient for more than 8 years for a back injury, surgery and constant, severe back pain. He is a REAL doctor! His concern is to treat you with the best options available and improve your quality of life. Dr. Umpierre listens to you and offers options for treatment. You are very much involved in your own care & he is open to your inquiries about treatment options. If you’re just looking for someone to write out prescriptions for narcotics without treatment, this is not the place. This Dr is thorough and knowledgeable of the latest treatments, medicines and procedures. He will explain everything thoroughly and ultimately you decide which treatment you want to follow. It took me a while to arrive at the best treatment plan, the correct meds and doses and thankfully, with his help, I feel I can function at a capacity I thought I would never see. I actually felt I would be in a wheelchair by now. Don’t get me wrong, I am not cured; I still have some bad days, some… so-so days but mostly good days. Those days where I can do my daily light chores and movements and not be in excruciating pain afterwards. Thanks to Dr. Umpierre

I feel horrible and like a junkie after I leave his office. I really despise going to see this doctor; I'm looking for another one. I'm in chronic pain. I want to be treated by a caring doctor, not by a suspicious doctor who already has his mind made up about his patients. People need help, not to be looked down on. He makes me feel terrible.

I have been seeing him for several years now and his diagnosis is always right. His staff is always without fail wonderful!! I can understand why he is a bit hesitant on the prescription writing. It's simple.. Because he has to be as there are many drug abusers out there and he is very thourough and I for one am glad he is.. I get tested as well and its only because he cares and he does not give out meds unless you really need them and I wish there were more out there like him.. He always listens and never rushes me and always makes me feel like he really cares about my pain and all the discomfort I live with every day.. If it was not for this ONE OF A KIND Doctor... I don't know where I would ever find a doctor of his caliber and expertise and knowledge of his chosen profession..I appreciate him and his entire staff immensly.. Thank you all for being there for me.. I drive over 2hrs to go to him and is well worth it.. Anyone looking for the best out there.. make an appointment and you… will not regret it..

In a bad auto accident almost 2 years ago. Has so far provided relief like no other. Yes, very low on the pain medication end of it, but will increase as needed.As far as the holistic end of it goes, what a breath of fresh air. In combination with pain medication, this is hard to find!However, I agree that if your in constant pain the healing process takes longer and not good for the body or mind.I would definitely recommend this doctor!

Dr. Umpierre is one of the most knowledgeable, brilliant, and willing to try alternative (including homeopathic) methods that I have ever met; he's a fantastic Doctor and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. The only constructive criticism I have is that he could really work on his bed manners. He makes his patients feel like drug addicts when they are not. They are chronic pain sufferers who have been experiencing excruciating pain, every single day, most of them for years. They need support and care, not a Doctor that makes them feel like junkies, thus making them feel even worse than when they came in to see him. Every single staff member of his office is amazing at what they do, and wonderful people too! It really is a great place to go if you are suffer from any kind of chronic pain.

Seems very paranoid and self-protected in treating chronic pain and grossly underprescribes out of his own fear but still will take your money and time. Very productive patient here has tried to reach out numerous times only to be told that condition is not warranted to be treated with amount of medication that is truly needed to be able to have a functional life. Then routinely drug tested after being underprescribed and treated as a junkie. I feel horrible every time I leave the office about who I am and my self worth. This includes the staff that work there too except for the receptionist. Mentally very stressful as he randomly drug tests and expects you to drop what your doing whether your working or not. Probably the most adversarial pain management doctor I have ever been to.

Dr. Umpierre is a wonderful and extremely knowledgale doctor who has so much expertise in treating his patient's pain. He uses all kinds of different treatments including injection therapies as well as traditional pain treatments. He is very compassionate and goes out of his way to help each patient he has. He is brilliant as well as kind. His office staff is also top notch and they all make you feel like you are their priority.
