Dr. Enyibuaku Rita Uzoaga, MD

Dr. Rita, is truly one of the best physicians, that I have ever had. She's always on point, when diagnosing your problems. She doesn't push you to take unnecessary tests. Her bedside manners are superb. No one is perfect because you don't work alone but all I know, is that she's special.

Your treatment coupled with your concern and caring attitude has helped me attain a strong hope of recovery. As I continue on with my fight in the journey of my life, I want to thank you for your contribution in making my future brighter

I have been seeing Dr. Rita for over a year now. She's a very caring doctor who is concerned about the patient's welfare. The wait time to see her can be lengthy but to me, it's worth it to have a doctor that views you as a person and not a patient number. I would recoomend Dr. Rita to those people that are tired of feeling like an inconvenience to their doctor. Good job Dr. Rita!

Dr. Uzoaga is a great doctor who exhibits the appropriate dose of compassionate professionalism. Her bedside manner is second to none. She is very accommodating of her patients and cares more about their welfare than money. She is indeed a God sent to the medical community

The doctor coded my routine preventative well adult visit as being linked to a bone density result showing minimal osteopenia. She coded it as a bone and cartilage disorder which is not covered by well adult visits and lab tests. I had to appeal with the insurance who agreed with me when they saw the lab result showing minimal osteopenia. Osteopenia is treatable by looking after oneself with diet, exercise, calcium and vitamin D and by being monitored by a dexa bone density test every two years. Minimal osteopenia is not the same as osteoporosis which is a bone and cartilage disorder. She was very hard to communicate with and did not change the code even though she told me she would. With a deductible of $1,200, the bills, when not coded as preventative, were over $600. When coded correctly, they are covered 100%. I had fasted for a blood test and took the first appointment for the day for that reason, but someone else was still seen before me. When I first met her she described me… as 'skinny'. I am the correct weight for my height and look after myself both by exercising and diet. I spent a great deal of time making phone calls to all the entities associated with the tests and bills and also to the doctors office. I was required to spend time writing reports and forwarding information for the appeal to the insurance company. It was stressful dealing with the situation. I feel I should be able to bill the doctor for my time wasted and the stress caused. So much for caring about a patients health!
