Eric baker is a coward who is afraid of buff alpha males no matter how kind you try to be to this weasel!!! Breaks eye contact & you can sense the fear in his heart! I was refused service because i wanted my testosterone checked, & told not to come back!! I guess little eric baker isnt into testosterone judging by his 5foot5 height & 125pd body weight!!!!! Avoid this coward if you need quality service, & let this practice know... simpsonville was better off without this small time loser!!!

I took my son to see Dr Baker for his severe acne problem. Dr Baker initially put my son on antibiotics. After a month, his acne wasn't any better so we went back to see him. Many of my son's friends had been prescribed Accutane so we were going to ask that my son be put on it too. Dr Baker was not friendly nor agreeing. He would not prescribe Accutane but rather told my son to continue on antibiotics, which keeping a child on those long term is not a solution! Very dissatisfied. I took him to another dermatologist, and he was put on accutane. Shame on you Dr Baker for not doing your job!

I suffered from cystic acne for years and have gone to multiple doctors in an effort to clear it up. After a decades worth of appointments and trying many different treatments (Accutane, antibiotics, birth control, etc ...), I went to visit Dr. Baker and I am so glad I did. By the second appointment he had identified the root cause of my acne and created a treatment plan to address it. He really spent time listening and speaking with me about my concerns -- noticeably more than my previous doctors. My skin has never been clearer and consistent then it has been in the past couple of years that Dr. Baker has been my dermatologist. I would really recommend him to anyone in the market for a doctor who actually cares about finding a solution to his patient's skin problems.

Dr. Baker gave me bad advice on a wart removal. In the end, I have a wart and over $500 owed to Dr. Baker. I will not be returning to him.

I am truly shocked at all the positive reviews for Dr. Eric Baker I'm seeing online. I recently accompanied a relative to her appointment with him. The receptionist told us he was running behind. He ended up rushing my relative when she was finally ushered back, did not listen to her complaints, and quickly wrote her a prescription. She has a skin condition on several parts of her body (eyes, mouth, ears, chest, stomach, and inner thighs, with the most severe being around her eyes) and was told by the unfriendly nurse "the cost of the visit only covers him looking at three places" (something we were never told over the phone when making the appointment). He gave her a very strong steroidal cream and told her to use it on all her problem areas including her face. He told her the reason she's losing hair is stress and has nothing to do with her seborrheic dermatitis, with which he diagnosed her. However, they are in fact related. She had a bad feeling about using the cream around her… eyes, so she didn't. Yesterday she went to another appointment about her condition (this time with a nurse practitioner) who let her know she was right not to use that cream on her face. I do not feel my relative was treated with the kind of care and concern a physician should use and instead was treated in an assembly-line fashion to get her out the door as soon as possible because of him running behind. I would never recommend seeing Dr. Eric Baker.

Dr. Baker has been my PCP for several years. I find him to be competent with a friendly bed side manor. The couple of times I was without insurance my bill was always reduced to a reasonable amount. I've been very satisfied with his medical experience and intend to continue seeing him until one of us retires or crokes :) When he was with KCIM there was an occasional clerical error, but never a medical error.

I am a local Insurance Broker. So discussing medical providers is my daily business. When it was time to pick a dermatologist for myself, I chose Doc Baker. I had a timely appointment scheduled with immediate diagnosis AND correction that day.I have clients who have made an appointment with one doctor but got a group partner NOT the Doc they chose on appointment day. A friendly, competent office staff welcomed me. Dr. Baker's office even has a plan for folks without insurance. The office was easy to find and opens at 8 am.I was offered a 7 am to assist balance MY schedule.The Medical Community is changing out there folks and I'm happy to have found a qualified and caring dermatology office.

Dr. Baker missed basal cell on my face that I called to his attention. He basically treated me as it was nothing. He also misssed large melanoma on my back. I had gone to Dr. Baker for a few years and definitely could not recommend him. I thank God that I am under the care of another dermatologist.
