Terrible surgeon. Wasted no time to try to leave the room. Doesn’t know anything and wouldn’t advise seeing him.

I saw Dr. Belin last year at his clinic in Bloomingdales. Although there was longer wait time than I expected, Dr. Belin took his time to explain the surgery, answered all y questions, and was kind enough to speak on the phone few times with my family before and after the surgery. We all felt confident he is the right guy for the job (having seen 3 other specialists in the prior). The surgery was a success. Dr Belin is one of the best care providers I've ever had. As a side note, while I understand people’s frustration with the wait time, I’m glad I waited to see him. A true professional!

Easy to get an appointment, but very little time spent looking at my case, poor bedside manner and follow up.

Dr. Belin kept me waiting for over 2 hours and spent 5 minutes looking over my MRI. I realize doctors are busy but this back injury has been the most debilitating medical experience I’ve had in my life and Dr. Belin showed absolutely zero interest in empathizing or treating me. He gave me a brush off recommendation of taking a mild anti inflammatory for a month. I knew for a fact this wouldn’t help and would simply be another waste of my time. It took me 3 months to schedule this appointment then he suggests a treatment to waste another month of my time despite me telling him over and over again that I have tried rehabbing and anti inflammatory. Very uninterested in me as a patient and treated my time as if it was significantly less valuable than his own.

Went to see this doctor a week after going to ER. Waited 30 minutes in exam room before doctor came in. All he did was to order physical therapy and prescribe Mobic. Total time with me 5 minutes at best! Granted, he was probably looking at the ER report and past history, but I felt I was being treated "as a number or statistic" rather than a person! I would not recommend him. The only reason I saw him was because my prior spine surgeon left the group suddenly
