Dr. Eric Jerome Grigsby, MD

I have been a patient at doctor grigsby's office for over 24 years. I see Gayle McLaughlin on a monthly basis. Not only have I been with this office for 24 years I also drive round trip 8 hours each month just to continue with these Dr.s. Even though I still continue with chronic pain I won't allow anyone else to treat me. I have never experienced even one circumstance that I was not completely happy with. I would absolutely recommend this office of wonderful doctors and medical assistants. If I could I would give them 10 Stars.

as others have said, dr. grigsby treats you like a human. it sounds simple but in years of chronic pain and suffering, i've found it only a handful of times. he and his staff are deeply knowledgeable, and committed to caring for you in the long-term. if you are looking for magic tricks or quick fixes, this is not the place for you. chronic pain is complicated, but this diligent group will work with you to find the answers you need.

I have been his patient for over 14 years he is a wonderful ,caring, and kind person. Dr Grigsby professional is but doesn't forget to have compassion.

Spent more time at first visit talking about his vineyard than he did about my pain. Did not see him for 3 years after first visit but I saw nrses who were not nurse pracititioners. When I had a problem that the nurse could not understand she could not reach him because he was iin Florida......so I switched doctors and am doing much better. His billing was very aggressive (he overcharged regularly)

H o r r i b l e. very untrustworthy of a professional educator (me) post op spine surgery and I am married to a medical professional. Strict urine sampling sent out to a very costly laboratory. Bedside manner is off-putting. His head is to big for his body. He should acquire some ego-reduction with a new diet. Staff is mixed. No wonder doctors he works with (hires) leave after a year or two. (Pope and Yun). I imagine his overpowering negativity prompts them to move on. Fancy brochures don't make a good doctor.

I have been privileged to be a patient for 16 years.He and his entire staff are professional, compassionateand caring! I have found this physician will try variedtreatments, medications, etc in order to help the patientmanage pain. I can honestly say that my quality of life is a direct result of the care I have received from Dr.Grigsby and his staff!

Met with Dr. Grigsby during my first appt. which did take quite a bit of time because I had to meet w/ his PA first who went over my history etc. Dr. Grigsby was very professional, personable and sincere. Since my diagnosis and prescribed therapies I do see his PA, Gail for all monthly appts. and she is fantastic! My primary point of frustration is dealing with his front office staff when trying to schedule or reschedule appt's. Brenda is one person in particular who almost never returns phone calls when you have to leave her a voice mail msg. regarding scheduling. Also, there have been a couple of occasions when a staff member was suppose to call me to schedule a procedure and no one ever called me so I had to call them numerous times which is frustrating and timely. Bottom line, the medical providers at this practice are good but the front office staff is a pain to deal with, however the staff at Dr. Grigsby's Napa Surgery Center is great.

This Doctor is rude and unprofessional.If you have tattoos do not go to him.He will judge you by how you look and will shut off to everything you say, no matter how much legitimate pain you are in.I would not even refer someone I don't like to him.

I found this physician very wanting in his mannerisms and also discovered very recently he had a nurse who was not licensed and made false and misleading statement after becoming enraged, shared my information with other patients, wrote untruethful statements of me and gave my personal assistant a business card for a new drug abuse center while accusing me of loosing my teeth from using drugs while in fact I lost my teeth from a motorcycle accident thirty years ago. The doctor refuses to talk to patients who disagree with him or his assistant and completely fails to investigate patients true history or listen to patients personal history from patient verbally. I would be very weary of this doctor in that if he or his nurses make a mistake they are completely unwilling to rectify their mistakes and ignore the patients altogether while telling them not to call him again. If you want a tarnished record and more pain when you leave, then see this horrible physician and his more horrible… nurse lynda who I found was unlicensed while making false diagnoses and prescribed medications with no license whatsoever while waiving the prescriptions in front of my face as to threaten to not give them unless I made a false confession of myself. This doctor made various invasive procedures with assistance from the unlicensed nurse in question.
