Dr. Eric L Gross, MD

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be a patient of Dr. Gross’s. He was compassionate calm and kind and informed me of everything I needed to know but most of all I want meant even more to me than being with the doctor was his nurse Stephanie who held my hand who hugged me who wiped my tears when I cried because I was scared she was amazing the level of care and compassion at this facility supersedes anything I have ever seen.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Gross who removed my gall bladder in 2015. His surgical coordinator is on top of things, and that is a big plus. She put my mind at ease while waiting for the proper clearances required before surgery. Surgery done at Hackettstown Medical Center at the same day surgery wing. Dr. Gross was there on time for the early morning surgery. Not having to wait around for hours on end was much appreciated. Surgery went well with no complications. I was on my way home at 12:30 p.m. I was not a spring chicken (age 69 at the time) so I was very happy with the outcome.

I highly recommend this doctor....staff is wonderful and put me at ease and Dr removed my cyst immediately....ah the relief!

Went to diagnose a groin bulge on left side after being sent to Dr. Gross from my GP. He told me I needed an operation and had an inguinal hernia on my left side. However, after his examination, which was very rough, my right side hurt as well. It got worse days later and I saw another Dr. for second opinion. 2nd Dr. told me I had bilateral hernias. Only left side hurt before I saw Dr. Gross. After I left his office Both sides hurt. I'd sooner see a veterinarian than go back to Dr. Gross.

Dr. Gross performed a successful operation on a hernia (left side) six years ago and promised at that time that the other side would need to be done one day...well, the day has come and I'm searching him out again. Great professional.
