He never disclosed risk factors before proceeding with a procedure — I later learned that information exists and he simply didn't share it. He dismissed my post-surgical concerns — not only in person, but in his clinical notes, which expressed optimism that didn't match what was actually happening to me. It's as though he had his version of my situation and nothing I told him to the contrary changed that. I reached him directly twice over a period of escalating, uncontrolled pain. He never examined me or sent me for x-rays — dismissed my concerns over the phone. What started as one problem cascaded into more — including a second procedure I shouldn't have needed. After an adverse reaction, he discontinued all the new medications he prescribed with no attempt to identify which one was actually responsible, leaving me without protection I needed. He later forgot about something important again, until I caught it and pushed back. I brought detailed written agendas to appointments… laying out my concerns. He largely ignored them. When another provider identified a finding, he denied it outright — a finding later confirmed by others, along with something else he'd repeatedly told me didn't exist. He is reassuring and pleasant when things go well. When things go wrong, his response is denial, never resolution. Maybe he's a good surgeon — but he's a lousy doctor.

Dr. Grossman has A good bedside manner, I never feel rushed. Dr. Groomsman always takes his time and answers all of my questions. I am very happy with the way my knee replacement surgery went. Great front desk staff and X-ray-techs. Emma who is the doctor's PA was always available to help me through the complete process. Emma was just the best!
