Dr. Eric Michael Jeffries, MD

Dr. Jeffries himself may be a good dr., but he unfortunately allows his staff to harass, harangue, badger, nag and embarrass his patients in front of others in the waiting room. There is no acceptable reason at all to condone this behavior by the office staff, more specifically the two “she beast” receptionists. My recommendation is to avoid this practice and the “she beasts”, there are plenty of great neurologists that do not allow and condone harassment of their patients.

Great doctor and the patience of a saint...always listens and is a dr. who cares about his patients. I feel lucky to be in his care.

I brought my 87 year old mother to see Dr. Jeffries because she was suffering from intense burning in both of her legs. She'd been in pain for over a year, and had always thought it was from a skin condition on her shins. No ointment helped, so someone advised a neurologist. Dr. Jeffries patiently listened to every detail, and calmly explained that the burning was being caused by her diabetic neuropathy, and that it unfortunately will never go away but can get relieved with neurontin. He was conservative in his administering due to her age, but reassured her that she will see a difference within a week. He was 100% correct in his diagnosis, and just as important, was so kind and caring with my mom. We adore Dr. Jeffries....and if there's ever a question or issue, he will handle it over the phone, as opposed to requiring an appt.

Great doctor. He actually cares for his patients. He is patient, and understanding. He explains things great. Spends time with you. Overall one of the doctors that truly cares and is great at what he does.

Office manager was very rude when explaining the bill to me over the phone. She (Ceci Fmothers) constantly cut me off and made offensive accusations in a very unprofessional manner. It was extremely unpleasant experience. Dr. Jeffries promised to follow up if there is any noteworthy findings in MRI report delivered only to him. But he never called or emailed. Only when several months later when I had another doctor explain what the report meant, I found out about an important finding to me that I was expecting from Dr. Jeffries's follow-up. When I confronted him with this issue at the next office visit, he simply responded that was nothing to worry about. But that is exactly the kind of opinions that any patient would love to hear from a Dr.'s follow-up. It was unexpected and unacceptable. For the first visit, I had to wait over 1 hour after my appointment time. All other patients seemed to take this delay well as if it is their common practice. This center also has a… rather peculiar rule of no show fee of $50, and staff would make sure patients sign the agreement of "willingness to pay". They have a poor system of scheduling and notifying patients of upcoming appointments. Combining the two things, there is a shady business operation. You may risk being forced to pay the fee for nothing. Overall, I would not recommend this center or Dr. Jeffries to anyone.

This is the first time I saw Dr. Jeffries. He is professional and a great communicator. He explained to me what were my possible conditions and how these conditions would affect. Next, he explained the tests he would like to perform. He was honest, which I appreciate a lot. He listened to me, and he seems like he really cares about me. Most importantly, I feel confident that he will take care of my medical conditions.
