Dr. Levens and the staff at Shady Grove Fertility were incredibly supportive and professional during our years-long treatment towards parenthood. Dr. Levens is a driven specialist and practices with heartwarming care and maintains the highest professional standards: he was prepared with alternate treatments and protocols to help us conceive while always being kind and understanding of the emotional rollercoaster of fertility treatment. He calls, answers questions, and asks how you're doing - can't be happier with his care!

We are so thankful that we found Dr. Levens & Chris. Prior to finding them, we were receiving treatment at another fertility clinic and never felt a single shred of hope. Our other provider made us feel like everything was impossible. Dr. Levens was the exact opposite. We felt so comfortable from the first meeting & he was so reassuring. He knows his stuff & it shows and his kind demeanor is an added bonus. We are now 12 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby and owe it all to Dr. Levens & Chris!

Dr. Levens and his staff were extremely kind and patient, walking us through all our questions and making sure we felt 100% confident that we understood all the information and decisions we were making. We had success on our first IVF/FET round and are currently 16 weeks and counting! The minute we walked through the clinic doors, I knew we had made the right decision, thank you!

Dr. Levens and his nurse Ms. Williams are truly amazing! I originally was a patient of Dr. Greenhouse, but after his passing I was looking for another doctor within the practice that could take over my care. Dr. Levens came highly recommended online and now I can see why. Although I came into his office with multiple failed FET's, he still gave me hope and developed a plan that worked for us. I am happy to say that we are now pregnant with twins thanks to the amazing staff at Shady Grove! They were also so accommodating get me in to see a doctor when I had a scare 5 weeks into my pregnancy. I was sitting in the waiting room crying and a sweet nurse noticed how upset I was and put in a room until I could be seen. It is little things that like that go above and beyond other fertility clinics. We will forever be grateful for the amazing care I received during the good times and the bad.

I've been under his care for over a year, I have nothing to say but good things about him and his main nurse Mary. We tried 3 Iui's before moving on to IVF. Patients should know that IVF is not magic, your first round may fail but you and your doctor learn about your body's response to medications. Our first round we dealt with a quality issue, me being 36 and our issue being MFI. He changed my protocol for the second round and I'm happy to say I've graduated from Shady Grove, we would not be pregnant if it wasn't for Dr. Levens I wish he could deliver our gummy bear. He always was very kind and listened to our concerns. I think as a patient you must spend time to educate yourselves with terminology and procedures so when you speak to the doctor he doesn't have to spend years explaining simple things. You have to be your own advocate and we felt Dr. Levens was always in our corner.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Levens and his nurse Danielle. Dr Levens took a ton of time me going over all my options and answering all my questions. I never felt like I was being rushed or that my concerns weren't being taken seriously. Danielle answered every single one of my crazy neurotic emails, and always made me feel reassured and calm. I had success in my second cycle with Dr Levens and I cant express my gratitude enough!

When my husband and I knew it was time to see a fertility specialist, we called the general line at Shady Grove. We feel unbelievably lucky to have been placed with Dr. Levens and his team. They made us feel welcome, important and hopeful from day 1. Dr. Levens truly listened to our questions and concerns. His expertise and hopeful outlook made this experience as pleasant as it could have been. We are pregnant with our first child and will definitely go back to him when we are ready for #2!

I was recommended to Shady Grove Fertility after multiple early losses by my OBGYN and a friend who had also used their Rockville office. Dr. Levens was extremely gentle and informative and ensured in our first appointment that we understood his thoughts and the next stops. Never once did we feel pushed in any way. The nursing staff was wonderful each visit, and support Dr. Levens in communicating next steps. When I became pregnant, Dr. Levens attended ultrasounds and answered my zillion questions, and again, set expectations well. I'd recommend Shady Grove and Dr. Levens to anyone who even thinks you may have an issue. You actually don't need to wait for your OBGYN if your insurance doesn't require a referral. I wish we had gone this route sooner!

Dr. Levens was extraordinary! He persevered with us through our fertility journey and did not give up on us, even when we were giving up on ourselves. His kindness, compassion, and encouragement gave us the courage to keep trying as we were continually met with challenges. If it weren't for Dr. Levens, we would not be expecting our little one. I will never be able to repay him for the incredible service he provided. I cannot say enough amazing things about this man.

I will forever be grateful for having worked with Dr. Levens. His calm demeanor is infectious. We were reasonably anxious about the whole process. We wanted to have children, but I (the husband) couldn't do it naturally. Just being in the same room as Dr. Levens was calming. I'm not saying this because he was the only doctor we worked with. He was the third fertility doctor I had worked with, and he made it happen. I cannot overstate his level of expertise, professionalism, and caring. He answered every little question we had, and he helped us understand every part of the process even though the real science was miles over our heads. I have thanked him in person, but if he is reading this, Thank you a million times over. I have no doubt there is a place in heaven waiting for you.
