Dr. Eric Matthew Parsons, MD

Dr. Parsons performed rotor cuff repair on my left shoulder. Although his bedside manner was not the greatest towards me. I still feel he is an excellent surgeon and would recommend him.

I fell on ice slipping out of my car and the seatbelt held my arm and tore three of my muscles severely including the collar bone cartilage. Dr. Parson stated it was one of the worst tears he would try to repair. after warning my that I could lose some mobility in the shoulder long-term, but he would do his best. His best was more than excellent. After five months of therapy and healing I have no residual loss of movement or flexibility. I am so very grateful for his expertise. The Therapy associated with Dr. Parson is more than top class. The four staff members that work with me over those months of care were beyond capable and caring professionals. I cannot recommend Dr. Parson and his staff any higher.

Dr. Parsons has performed rotator cuff surgery on my left and right shoulders, both are 100% again. He is a brilliant man with a great sense of humor also and his team is amazing. Highly recommend.

I tore my rotator cuff in August of 23. I was referred to Dr. Parsons by my pc physician in September when I realized the shoulder was not improving. Dr. Parsons found a very large tear in it and recommended surgery as soon as possible due to stats that indicated a faster and fuller recovery from surgery. Due to extenuating circumstances on my end the surgery was not performed until February of 24. Needless too say I was expecting the worst case scenario for the recovery and rehab. I was more than surprised and relieved with the results. I never really had any post surgery pain that required more than ibuprofen. My physical therapy was delayed 2 weeks due to the size of the tear (instead of 2 weeks after surgery it was 4 weeks). I work a physically demanding job and was back to work after 8 weeks on a slightly limited basis. The current date is July 28 2024 and I would say I am 95% back to normal movement in the shoulder. I would highly recommend Dr. Parsons not only for his surgical… skills but also for his demeanor. He was very concise in his evaluation and clearly explained the process. I don't believe I could have had a better doctor or recovery.

I’ve been suffering with severe shoulder pain for nearly a decade. I was referred to Dr Parsons by a personal friend, and I’ve been overjoyed ever since. I’m now 4 months post op and have a full range of motion. I’m no longer in pain and am steadily heading back on a road to recovery. Dr. Parsons treated my wife 5 years ago for a torn rotator cuff. Her success with Dr. Parsons was great and that is what led me to having him treat me. He repaired my left rotator cuff in 4 places and my recovery was nothing less than fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr. Parsons for this surgery or any surgery for which he is qualified. I am a police officer in the area. I had pain in my shoulder and went to Dr.Parsons to have it checked out. Dr.Parsons listened to my concerns and quickly scheduled an MRI. Two weeks later I was having surgery to reattach a couple tendons and my bicep to my shoulder. My recovery has been amazing. I am able to do things I have not done in years and I owe it all to Dr.Parsons for the wonderful work he did.

I am just completing therapy for my second torn rotator cuff surgery. My right arm had two muscles detached from the rotator cuff that were reattached by Dr. Parsons. Previously my left shoulder had a similar condition which was also successfully repaired about 3 years ago. In both cases the outlook was grim but both arms have recovered nearly completely with no limit on range of motion. I followed his advice completely during the healing process and am quite happy with both outcomes. A great job repairing my shoulders with very limited pain. Had my second rotator cuff repair by Dr. Parsons on my left side, first was my right side. Dr. Parsons did an outstanding job of repairing my tears! Recovery was as expected and within the timeline given. I would highly recommend Dr. Parsons if you need this type of surgery.
