Dr. Tate is very thorough and knowledgeable. As others have said, he takes the time to review your file, labs and listens to you. He also asks if you have any questions, which is great. So glad I found his office.

Dr Tate takes the time to listen to you. This goes a long way. My previous doctors always make me feel rushed. I find I do not have the time to discuss the problems I am having. I understand I am not the only patient to be seen for the day, but Dr Tate makes me feel as if I am. Thank you! <3

I am a new patient to Dr. TATE, but I must say He is very caring, professional and good at his profession. I HIGHLY recommend He to anyone who want some good ole time to time medical care. A very kind and polite staff works for him.

I was an employee of Dr. Tate and during my time with him, I never saw him take time for himself. He is a very caring, compassionate Doctor. He always goes above and beyond for his patients. Dr. Tate is always working around the clock and his staff also work very hard to get to each patient in a timely manner. He takes his time with every patient he is not like those doctors that fly in and out of the room. He takes his time to explain and do all necessary testings. It is why sometimes it may take a while on an appointment but is WORTH waiting for because a doctor like him there are not too many. I have not worked for him in the last 7+ years but I continue with him for my parents and brother and he has always taken the best care. Would recommend him to anyone who is looking for honest answers.

I can't even remember when I started going to Dr. Tate, but he was recommended by an excellent doctor that was also on staff at Long Beach Memorial. I have had some uncommon things to happen, but he was Johnny-On-the-Spot with the diagnosis. But this is where my respect came from. My mother was hospitalized from what appeared to be some sort of flesh eating disease. As fate would have it, Dr. Tate was the admitting doctor. After getting my mom's history from me, he mentioned a rare condition that he hoped she didn't have, because the recuperation would take months. 3 weeks later, they found out that my mom did in fact have the disease that he was hoping that she had. Dr. Tate not only was NOT quiet with my mom and I, but he also made jokes. So, I think after getting to know him, he wasn't quiet at all.If ever you read this, you know who I am with my OCD, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you had done for my mom, and that you continually do for me.

Dr. Tate I never got the chance to thank you for saving my mom life I feel that if she was not in your care she would not be here. I know it was the grace of God but i beleave he used you as a vesel. Thank You for doing what you do and for caring for people.
