Dr. Schnaser performed a robotics total hip replacement on me. After the surgery I was more concerned with getting an eyelash out of my eye than any discomfort. I went straight home and felt virtually pain free. I have been shopping, walking, doing yard work-Dr. Schnaser said to stick with doing whatever is comfortable. I’ve been able to do that. We’re going to take some trips now since I’m finally able to walk some distance. Dr. Schnaser walks on water.

After contracting a MRSA infection following hip replacement, Dr Schnaser treated my infection with antibiotic spacers and also repaired a broken femur following a fall at a skilled nursing facility. He has provided exceptional care throughout my rehab. I can recommend him highly.

Dr. Schnaser recently revised both my hips due to failure and metallosis of my metal on metal hip prosthesis. The entire surgical experience was remarkably smooth from the pre surgery thru the surgery thru the home health visits while healing. I can't recommend Dr.Schnaser enough. He is the most highly trained physician for difficult ortho surgeries in California. Having worked in health care for many years as an RN PhD and formerly a Director of Education at a leading hospital, I would trust Dr. Schnaser completely to do a remarkable job.

Nice enough doctor, scheduled my full hip replacement with him and two weeks prior to the surgery date I get a call saying they need to re-schedule my surgery because the doctor decided he wanted to go out of the country to attend a symposium. I can't believe the arrogance. His time is obviously much more important than mine. Arranging for a full hip replacement from the standpoint of the patient is much more than a date. It is several leading appointments and arranging time that is convenient to be out of work. Dr. Schnaser obviously has little consideration from time other than his own.

Dr. Schnaser was recommended by a pain specialist after another hip surgeon didn't show an interest in my problem. Dr. S was a great choice. He and his PA, Vanessa Cascio, not only showed an interest in my situation, but made direct recommendations to move ahead towards the necessary surgery. The surgery went excellently and I was walking on Day 1 and out of the hospital on Day 2. Followup with In-home healthcare was excellent and all parties talked about the standards with which Dr. Schaser held them to. My only critique is that the Desert Orthopedic Center appointment process and call center is slow, sometimes requiring several calls or waiting for calls to be returned.

Dr Schnaser literally gave my life back to me when he did my hip replacement. Perfection in a doctor in every way.
