There is not a doctor in the world who gives as much of himself as Dr. Ernie. He was my husband's doctor 18 years at CPMC. My husband spent many days in the hospital under the care of him. Dr. Ernie saw him everyday of every visit he was there. It didn't matter what holiday it was if you were in the hospital he saw you on that day, the only holiday that my husband was not in the hospital in all of his years of care under Dr. Ernie and that was Christmas...but I bet he was there that day as well. He was not just your doctor he was your friend and cared for you like family. My husband and I loved him with all our hearts. He keep my husband alive through MANY issues that came up. The most intelligent doctor anyone could ask for, If you passed away under his care we felt there was nothing else that could have been done. God Bless this man!
