Dr. Estelita Calica, MD

My son had the misfortune of being a patient while at Glendale Adventist hospital. This woman is the most vile, rude, unprofessional, name-calling “dr.” She is dangerous to her psych patients and should be banned immediately. Hopefully, she will retire soon. She has more negative reviews than I have ever seen in my life. I’m actually looking into filing a class-action suit. I’m also contacting some news channels in hopes they will do a story to warn people.

Literally the worst psychiatrist you can find on this planet. So bad in fact, she does not see voluntary patients -- only the patients that get transferred to her. I'm not sure how she's still licensed.

I have never in my life seen a more unprofessional, rude, ignorant doctor . She treated me like garbage, was disrespectful and mentally abusive. She only wanted to come at night she'd start her round at 9:50 pm and was done at 10 with all her patients. If she spent 2 mins with me it was a lot. she would talk over me, call me a liar, and even had the audacity to walk away rolling her eyes when i told her i didn't want to take any medication. she told me "you're a patient you think your better than a psychiatrist ?!" she went as far as telling met that my reason "wasn't good enough" for me to be in psych as if she knew what was going on in my mind. if you ever get this doctor run, she doesn't have a healing bone in her body. they should revoke her license and charge her with abuse . all the other residents that were under her care said the same thing. I'm making sure to call the department of health as soon as i can.

I've never been treated more poorly by a medical "professional". Dr Calica doesn't deserve her title. She is the most judgmental person I've ever met, and I have no idea why she is even let into the psych ward. She literally walked out of the room in the middle of our conversation, during which she spent the whole time interrupting me and making bogus assumptions. She was very obviously judging me, and not listening to a single word I spoke. She doesn't know basic CBT or DBT skills, let alone any kind of psychiatric terminology. She deserves to be sued, and I don't plan on letting this go.

She was instrumental in helping me heal after my loved one died suddenly. She is the reason I am still here

Terrible and mean lady. Misdiagnosed me as major depressive when I was really bipolar. Sent me home on Prozac which made me manic causing me to be admitted to another hospital. She's rude, doesn't allow you to share your thoughts and is ultimately a dictator who not only has little concern for your well being, but who is more concerned with her power and outwardly appearance, as is indicated by her clownish make up.

Poor evaluation, rude, refused to tell me side effects of the medication she was prescribing me (even to my husband). She didn't listen or seem to care about anything I said and treated me like some sort of crazy idiot. Trying to contact the office for billings was equally futile.

She deserve a negative million starts. NOTHING GOOD AND EVERYTHING BAD ABOUT THIS SO CALLED MEDICAL DOCTOR. This lady should lose her medical lic. First, she doesn't care about patients at all and just does the absolute minimum and prescribes the same medications that she knows have not worked before. She is arragont, even though she has nothing to be arragont about other than her scary looking face with excessive makeup on. If you have her as a doctor, do all you can to get rid of her. She is a horrible doctor. She will not make you or a family or friend any better she will just cause them to get worse. She is a terrible doctor and didn't even go to school in the states. If there were negative 1000 starts I would give her that. Please believe me...i have had too much unwanted experiences with her.

Fails to follow up with patients after hospitalization! NightmareM

This doctor is just a miserable person that does not know to handle patients. She needs to re evaluate herself and not the patient.
