What a great dr! I had total knee replacements done 5 days apart and had great results-his team were wonderful people and guided me through it all. Syosset hospital staff were great-very clean hospital! Two weeks out of surgery I was walking without walker or cane!!Amazing!! Love this dr and recommend him highly??

Dr Krauss performed a staged double knee replacement on me at age 57. I am 59 and have had nothing but problems with my right knee. I beg you never to use this doctor. He is only concerned about his ego and how fast he can get a knee done. The prosthetic on my knee cap separated from the knee cap. The excellent surgeon that performed the revision told me the prosthetic came right out when the cut was made. I saw dr Krauss several times post surgery and he kept telling me the implant was perfect. Well his work was not perfect. He is not the same surgeon at 70 that he was at 50. I went to him because members of my family had great success with him and raved about him. The man I met with was arrogant and dismissive and reacted condescendingly when I asked Home questions at my pre surgical appointment. I should have run the other way. This man should retire he is long past his prime. Do not go to Dr Krauss or his team. Go to the hospital for special surgery!

I had both knees replaced five days apart. It is one week past my second surgery and I am walking around the neighborhood. My recovery has been so much better than I ever expected. My family and friends just tell me to "slow down." I have to thank Dr. Krauss and his team for their excellent work.

sold me with first visit if there was a lemon law i would be awarded a new correct knee havent walked without a cane in five years . saw him prior to surgery did not see him 5 hours later before surgery in O R never saw him again

Dr. Krauss actually saved my life by repairing my pelvis, leg and foot with operational expertise no one else had at the time. He has the utmost integrity and is an awesome human being.

Dr. Krause replaced my knee 5 years ago. I saw him once before surgery and the day of surgery. Saw PA's after that. When I complained about pain and creaking sounds coming from my knee, they blew it off. But it never felt right. I recently had the other knee replaced by another surgeon he exrayed the knee done by Dr. Krause and discovered that he left the patella untreated. Now I have pain and need more surgery because the arthritis on the patella is painful. Dr. Krause took a shortcut at my expense. I've been told I'm not the only one he's done this to. My doctor has seen it before. If Dr Krause is your choice, be sure to ask if he plans to do the whole job or just part of it.

I simply fell in love with him he is dedicated doesnt need money truley wants you better!

No follow up whatsoever. Dr Krauss said my dad would be fine in 5 days. It's been one month and he is still on his back unable to stand. What kind of money hungry monster does this to a person!
