Dr. Eugene Henry Schmitt, MD

I had a pressure ulcer that this surgeon told me to live with for the rest of my life. I’m in my early 30s. Completely irresponsible care that left me sick for years. I have since got a flap surgery done at froedtert and am doing much better. No thanks to this surgeon or his team of course. They didn’t refer me or offer me a solution other than to suffer in that position as a person born with a disability that leaves them in a wheelchair. I wouldn’t recommend someone to send their dog here. Guy needs to stick to cosmetics because he isn’t capable of real quality of life procedures.

Dr. Schmitt detected I had a basal cell cancer on my nose. He grafted skin on the area & he did an excellent job of integrating the skin on the affected spot. To this day you can't even tell I had surgery. He did an awesome job. He is an excellent plastic surgeon, I would highly recommend him for any type of plastic surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmitt's for well over 20 years. I am prone to skin cancer, and Dr. Schmitt has provided me with excellent care... diagnosing trouble spots, removal of lesions with little scarring, quick follow-ups, wonderful doctor-patient relationship, and a he's a doctor I thoroughly trust. I continue to recommend him to friends and acquaintances. An additional bonus is working with Mary, his nurse.

Dr. Schmitt helped me through a 4 year massive Melanoma outbreak on my scalp and forehead which I likely would not survived with another surgeon. I needed numerous surgeries (31?) and had hundreds of tumors removed, and some surgeries were very invasive, and every time I called in to get a biopsy or surgery he almost immediately arranged for me to come in. Every procedure and surgery performed were expertly performed and perfectly successful. His staff were likewise very helpful, sacrificing, and professional. Together we conquered it! I cannot imagine there being a better doctor!!!

Dr. Schmitt and Mary Delebreau are so skilled, but they also combine compassion with their work. I have been a patient for more than 20 years and I am alive today because of Dr. Schmitt’s expertise with melanoma and skin cancer.
