Dr. Eunice Cordoba, MD

My daughter's been seeing Dr. Cordoba for approx. 3 years, and I highly recommended her. In addition to prescribing a medication my daughter needs for her neurological condition, Dr. Cordoba has given us advice on herbal/natural supplements and behavioral techniques to use that have proven very effective for my daughter. There is often a bit of a wait (in the waiting room) before appointments, but from speaking with other parents there, it seems many patients have complicated issues requiring attention that were not disclosed by the parent or present when making the appointment. This has been true for my daughter on occasion as well, and the doctor spent the extra time with us.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office. I took my son who is extremely shy. Usually Doctors go out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Not this lady. I don't think she made eye contact with him even once, despite leaving us waiting for over an hour. She was rude and dismissive and spoke about my son like he wasn't in the room. Horrible. I personally don't believe the positive reviews can have been written by anyone but the Doctor herself!

Yes sometimes there is short wait not usually bad...she listens to my concerns and talks to my kids and doesn't over-medicate or push meds like other neuros we have been to. I love that she tries supplements and dietary changes prior to or in addition to meds. I think testing she does is to ensure she is treating pt in proper ways. She takes time with us and is patient.

I love Dr. Cordoba and her staff, the Dr is very educated and concerned with my son and her other patients. She really wants to find out the cause of his issues, I appreciate that she tests so his progress can be benchmarked. I think she is well worth the wait and her staff now is excellent. They explain everything and are friendly.

Terrible experience. Very long wait only to be met by an extremely unfriendly doctor. Worst bed-side manner I've ever witnessed. I won't be going back.

Rude. Incompetent. Inefficient. I could go on but I think the other reviews help paint an accurate enough picture. I never write reviews but I don't want anyone else making the same mistake I did by taking my son to see this god awful doctor.

I came in and thought wow what nice ladies. I personally think the only "professional" one is the older women up front. The doctor needs to learn to dress and be more relaxed she feels tence in her appointments, Jocelyn is a nice young lady but tends to come off rude.

My 13 week old baby had an appointment with Dr Cordoba this morning. After being left waiting for over 90 minutes, the "nurse" was incapable of both weighing my baby and measuring her head size. Dr Cordoba then wanted the nurse to give my baby an EEG without having even looked at her! This was clearly a money driven decision. When I eventually got in Dr Cordoba's office, I explained that I'd been left waiting over an hour and a half. Her response was "take it up with my office manager"....a complete deflection of responsibility despite it being her name on the door. When I pointed out that my baby was only 3 months old she rudely replied with "did you not bring food and diapers?". She had absolutely no empathy for the fact that just being at a neurologist with a 13 week old baby at all is a stressful and upsetting situation for any parent. On top of that she was rude and unprofessional and neither she, nor her staff, did anything to instill confidence in her as a doctor or the… practice itself. She at no point offered an apology nor explanation for the wait and instead was annoyed with me for uttering any kind of complaint (you'd think any kind of serious business owner would be interested in hearing about operational shortcomings). When I said that I didn't think her responses were very professional Dr Cordoba angrily asked me whether I'd like to "focus on the issue at hand or end the meeting now". By this point there was no way I was letting this woman anywhere near my child. I left the appoinent without the doctor ever taking a look at my baby. Nevertheless, her practice has still charged my credit card with $325. I can truly say I have never, ever had a worse experience with a doctor and I highly advise you avoid this woman at all costs!

I like Dr. Cordoba but her staff are poorly trained and they mess up quite frequently. There are other doctors that are just as good as Dr. Cordoba and there staff are better than hers.....don't waste your time....

Dr. Cordoba is wonderful. She is soft-spoken and patient with my son. Yes, some time you might have to wait abit, but I think some leeway should be given. We are talking about parents bringing in their children with head injuries or as in my case, finally finding someone who "gets" their kid and how his mind works. Sometime her staff might seem scattered, but I have never heard them be anything but cheerful and polite.
