Dr. Eve Francis Yalom, MD

I went to see Dr. Yalom a few years ago for a routine check-up in ref. to beginning menopause. Just had relocated to the area and wanted general information. I found Dr. Yalom dismissive, bitter, even a bit gloating: "Well, people never expect menopause to happen to THEM. But it does." That was all she had to say. Guess what. I expected menopause to happen. But also expected a doctor, who understood the significance of it for the female life cycle. Dr. Yalom then stuck with the protocol and did an exam. This too was cold, detached, completely uninterested. I went away with a feeling, that if ever really something serious would come up, Dr. Yalom would not be invested in my health. Gave me shivers. Never went back. She is still practicing. Maybe she is nicer to other patients.

Very professional, she knows what she is doing.She is very caring and make me very comfortable before performing my surgery.

I found Dr. Yalom to be bitter and presumptuous. She did not listen to my needs and later I learned that she dismissed several warning signs that indicated that I had a serious problem. She displayed unwavering arrogance by making conclusions of her own without really thinking about what was presented in front of her.
