STAY AWAY FROM HIM FOR CATARACT SURGERY! PUT WRONG SIZE LENS IN MY EYE ... THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT DECIDING TO GO WITH THE EXPENSIVE LENS - WHICH HE TOLD ME I DID NOT NEED! FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!

Dr Galler did a corneal transplant on my father’s right eye, for 10 years my father complained he couldn’t see well. Dr Galler told him that there was scar tissue and did absolutely nothing to help him. I took him to a different surgeon who told us that cornea had a slit in the center and that it probably was damaged when it was surgically put in my father’s eye. This surgeon is going to replace my dad’s cornea, thank god for her! My father finally will be able to enjoy his life again NO THANKS TO DR GALLER!

Excellent surgeon

Dr. Galler doesn't return phone calls, and makes mistakes/forgets things he then doesn't own up to. I think his personality and bedside manner are poor.

I HAD A SERIOUS EYE PROBLEM AND DR. GALLER SAW ME IN HIS OFFICE ON A SAT. MORNING. I HAD NEVER BEEN TO HIM BEFORE. I HAD BEEN TO FIVE EYE DRS. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE BEEN TO HIS OFFICE MANY, MANY TIMES AND HE ALWAYS SPENDS SO MUCH TIME WITH ME EVEN WHEN THE OFFICE IS FULL.. WHEN I HAVE TO WAIT HE IS VERY APOLOGETIC. WOULD REXCOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

Not enough attention to individual needs. Focus is on the mechanics of the procedure. Good surgeon whose effectiveness is seriously compromised by not taking each patient as an individual as opposed to a Medicare widget. Very disappointed.
