Dr. Faiz M Hussain, MD

Did my VA claim. Basically lied on my DBQ and his medical opinion. Didn't read any of my personal statements for context of cause of disability. No due diligence from this doctor. If could give zero starts I would. It's almost as if he has something against veterans trying to get their claim approved. All of my records point to my disability and he completely ignored it and made up BS rational. Keep this fraud away from veterans claims.

This POS doctor ignored information from my Sleep apnea Claim and my personal statement explaining why it was connected to my service connected disability. I wish I had looked this guy up before I let the exam go through. It was an ACE exam. I wasn't seen in person or spoken to to get my side of the story. If you see his name request another exam!!!!! he went so far as to write a whole article about why it's not connected and not use the context that was given in my files. I also believe he was mocking me in his statements.

Faiz omited relevant information on my medical exam resulting in denial of benefits. Appealed and won every claim after contacting a lawyer. Had to report him to the medical board of California. VA VETERANS BEWARE! If you see his guy show up on your LHI or VES exam, request a new provider.

Worst. VA Contractor. Ever. Stated OSA is solely due to obesity and that mental health/service does not cause obesity despite numerous studies showing otherwise. His ridiculously stupid and biased DBQ against those suffering from PTSD and overweight was destroyed by my lawyer and 2 other doctors and finally granted a year later due to this failure of a doctor to do his job correctly.

Please read 38 CFR 3.328 this doctor did an IMO exam and according to the law he cannot work for the VA and issue a IMO. He also not board certified and you need to look at his Alaska medical license reprimand. He did not review medicals and based his opinion no diagnosed condition. Also please refer to VA Handbook 1100.19 credentials required.

Dr. Hussain took the extra time to listen to and address all of my husband's issues. My husband isn't easy to talk to, but Dr. Hussain was very patient with him. My husband even complimented him.

Doctor Hussain did not seem interested in my concerns at all, to the point that he would took a phone call while meeting with him. After my appointment, upon reading his notes, they do not correlate to the issues discussed. This included simple things such as handedness being incorrect.

Did not seem interested in his job or helping me at all. Took personal phone calls in my appointment and ignored my questions. Seems like a smart guy just not a caring doctor.

Very caring individual. Excellent bedside manner. With traits like these, I know Dr. Hussain will enjoy great success in his career. Thank you!
