Dr. Fatima Luistro Salas, MD

It was nice to finally meet someone who explains what is going on with my back and what my options are. She was thorough and straight forward.

Dr. Salas has to be a "tough cookie." Every patient that comes to her hurts or professes to hurt. I personally appreciate the fact that she is careful to make sure I don't get medicine I don't need, take advantage of her or her staff, and don't get surgery before it's time. Recently I didn't come to an injection follow up appointment and I then forgot another appointment. Not only did she not " fire" me as a patient, which I deserved, she explained why it was important to come to the follow up and why she couldn't give medication without seeing me. Yes, I forgot the appointment but I was in the wrong and I knew it. Did I hurt for the week i went without my meds? Absolutely. But I am thankful for a doctor who follows the rules. If you have chronic pain, you should want a doctor like her. Let me tell you, she's as pretty as a picture, but she's one tough cookie! And that's what you want for pain management.

If you are looking for someone straightforward with your interest at heart...look no further! Would highly recommend her!

I saw Dr. Salas for pain in my neck and shoulder. She was very easy to talk to. She took time to listen and explained the procedure well. Her staff was knowledgeable and kind. The procedure went well. She was gentle and procedure was easily tolerable. I have done great since procedure and would recommend anyone I know to see Dr. Salas.

I have seen Dr. Salas on several occasions due to my back pain. She listens to my concerns and discuss several treatment options that may help. We have done several back injection. She has also recommended physical therapy and chiropractor to help with my pain issues. This combination has seemed to help me have a better quality of life. Thank you Dr. Salas for helping me!!! Will definitely see her again, if i ever need her.

I went in for SI injection. She totally missed the whole area. I paid over $1000 and she didn’t give me no relief. I had taken her a MRI results. I had a torn disc and she never noticed it. She sent me to physical therapy and all along I had a torn disc that was leaking the fluid on to my spine nerve. She treated me poorly like if she didn’t have time for me. I wouldn’t recommend her to no one. I have found a doctor and his name is Jeffrey colven. He’s a great doctor. Dr Colvin staff noticed the tear on my disk immediately. She didn’t take time for me and to mess with my spine is a big thing for me. I don’t want to be left peralized for Negligence on my doctors behalf. So when I did question them about my procedure they ended up firing me as a patient. Then they told me that they would not refer me to any other doctor and I had paid thousands with her MRIs etc. I had to start all over. I did speak to the manager in charge of the whole Grace clinic. By the grace of God is how I found… dr. Colvin. So again I don’t recommend her for no one..

Dr. Salas looked at me with a face of disgust and judgment the entire time of my visit. She offered no real help. She fat shamed me and treated me like I was an idiot. She didn't take anything I said seriously. She really didn't even listen to me. She was too busy looking me up and down with a curled lip of disgust. I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism from a doctor. She had zero care or empathy for my pain. My pain is due to a disease that anyone of any size can have, but she treated me like my disease was my fault due to being overweight. I'm sure less heavy patients with the same disease get completely different treatment from her. I paid my $30 copay just to be fat shamed and treated like I was stupid. I will never go back to Dr. Salas. She shouldn't be practicing this kind of medicine if she isn't capable of setting aside her prejudice and bias toward overweight people.

First visit went well. Explanation of problems & given options of treatment. Will definitely return & refer family or friends to. Had seen someone in another facility here. Will not return

Saw Dr and everything explained in manner I could understand. Excellent results with injection
