Dr. Firoz Sheikh, MD

This was my first time seeing Dr. Sheikh. I observed him to have been highly competent, a good listener, a little bit gruff in his demeanor but truly caring, and humorous at times. I enjoyed his care and will go back, definitely.

Went to Dr. Sheik. Every office visit (when I could actually make an appt) he was trying to convince me to get the HPV vaccine, even though I have been married for the last 3 years. He claims that my husband or I could cheat or divorce, then I will be wishing I had the shot. Also, he chose to try to impart his religion on me whenever possible, by claiming we had evolved from fish.

Dr. Sheikh was extremely condescending. He explained how a yeast infection happens after antibiotics in terms of as tory book metaphor- which I would have totally lost me if I was not an ADULT WOMAN- who has gotten yeast infections and has read everything imaginable on them because they are awful and I try to never get one. He also would not call in a prescription Diflucam without seeing me (do to work I was unable to make it in tot he office)- not trusting that I was sure I had a yeast infection. Additionally his staff did not tell he would not call it in an so I showed up at the pharmacy ready for relief only to find out that I would have to spend another night with ice on my crotch. Clearly he does not understand how to treat women- let alone talk with them.
