Dr. Gomez completed her undergraduate education and received her Doctor of Allopathic Medicine from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. She did her internship in UT Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg, Texas and completed her Family Medicine residency in Waco Family Medicine, Waco, Texas. Dr. Gomez cares for patients at the Highlands location.

I enjoy building connections by getting to know my patients, rejoicing in their accomplishments, and witnessing their progress.

How does your work improve lives?
Through education and awareness, I aim to empower my patients to avoid potential illnesses or detect them at the earliest stages possible, emphasizing the significance of proactive healthcare. For example, this involves preventing a stroke by detecting someone's elevated glucose and initiating effective treatment. By doing so, I can improve the quality of life for individuals and their families, which is one of the aspects I truly love about what I do.

What are some interesting facts about you?
My primary passion project beyond my professional life is my family.
Orchids are my preferred flowers, and I admire butterflies for their symbolism.
I aspire to learn the art of sewing and improve my dancing skills.

I am fortunate to have married the most incredible travel partner to share life's journey with. Our family, keeps us rooted and brings immense joy to our lives. During our leisure time, we cherish being together, exploring new destinations, and relishing various cuisines, with a special fondness for Latin food.
