Dr. Francesco Passarelli, MD

As far as a Dr. he’s amazing. Unfortunately his secretary Jennifer is the rudest most self centered person I’ve come across. Belittling his patients and speaking to them as the were peasants.. I know he’s lost several patients because of her! Dr needs to review his employee Jennifer. ASAP!

I was hospitalized for Guillian Barre Syndrom in 2012. After coming home from hospital I had to find a doctor....I truly do not like going to the doctor so I start off looking for reasons not to go back...but from the first visit I was a new patient. He is very honest...gives you as much time as you need. He keeps me on my toes wit all the yearly tests I need. He is very caring. On one of my hospital stays I was having a bad time. Dr Passarelli gave my sister in law his personal cell phone so if she needed him she could reach him day and night. In my 57 years I have never had a Dr that would give out their personal number. He is truly amazing. I moved out to Long Island but I refuse to find another primary doctor. I make the trip all the time. I promise you one visit and you will see what I mean. I trust him literaly with my life. His office staff are excellent also.

I love Dr. Passarelli, he has been my doctor for many years, and I think he is an excellent physician with exemplary diagnostic abilities. But his office manager Jenner needs to go. For about a year I have noticed an increased level of nastiness and apathy about her. I am tired of her attitude, and I am tired of my telephone calls not getting returned by her and my faxes not being acknowledged. I understand that this is an extremely busy practice, that the phones are crazy and that everyone is under a lot of stress on a daily basis. But there is no reason for the nasty and uncaring attitude and demeanor. She has been with him from the beginning, and I think it is time for her to either take an extended leave of absence to figure out what she wants to do, or to just move on altogether. Not cool to act like this when you are in the healthcare field. I totally understand that we all have bad days, but it seems that Jennifer has been having a lot of them, and I do not think it is… fair or right for patients to be subjected to her nastiness.

I am one of Dr. Passarelli's original patients when he first began his own practice. I do not have enough space or time to write all of the amazing things about this doctor. I travel a long distance to see him, and I am treated pretty much like royalty. He knows my whole life and and my entire medical history, and he takes a long time to answer my questions, and to go over matters of concern with me. He also takes the time to explain how certain blood tests work and his reasons for ordering them, as well as diagnostic tests. He is genuinely concerned about his patients not just from a medical perspective, but also from a personal standpoint. He has a team of fantastic and competent specialists that he refers his patients to, and he always has his staff call ahead to get me a prompt appointment so that I do not have to wait too long. He is very thorough and efficient with his patients' medical records and medical history, and he never leaves any stone unturned. If you have a… complex or a mysterious illness, he will keep looking and think outside the box until he finds an answer, rather than do what a lot of other doctors do, and tell you that you are suffering from anxiety, and suggest that you see a mental health professional. He can tell the difference of a patient being physically ill, and a patient suffering from anxiety or another mental health affliction. He is a very dedicated physician who deeply cares about all of his patients, and I tell everyone I know to go to him. You get the feeling that you are being taken care of, and that you are in competent hands.

Dr Passarelli has been my primary doctor for several years. His office is well staffed and the exam rooms very clean and modern. My EKG and blood tests are done efficiently and expertly. Dr Passarelli sends me for imaging tests and gives me proper referrals to see subspecialists. I am very pleased with the medical care I have received from him and his staff, and I have recommended friends and family to see him as well. If the office is busy and you are kept waiting, it's because he is an excellent and caring doctor and everyone wants to see him. I recommend him without hesitation. Btw, I am also a physician and I don't give praises easily but Dr Passarelli definitely deserves praise!

Dr. Passarelli is a one-of-a-kind doctor! He is well-mannered and concerned about all of his patients, and makes you feel at ease when sick or discussing health issues. He always returns my calls and requests are handled very professionally by his office staff. The reception desk is very helpful and pleasant. I have recommended this office to many friends and family because of this. You will not be disappointed by going to Dr. Passarelli!!

Dr Passarelli is a wonderful and caring physician! I also find his staff to be lovely! Jennifer always goes out of her way to help me in anyway she can! If she wasn't there that office would not run as smooth as it does now! I highly recommend dr Passarelli!

Let me start by saying Dr. Passerelli is a wonderful doctor. Unfortunately his Office Manager is the most shockingly unprofessional, uncooperative and inexplicably nasty medical personel I have ever dealt with. Without going into the riduculous course of events in my family's dealings with Ms "J" I just want to say I am still stunned by her bizarrely rude behavior and refusal to assist a patient with a critically important but extremely simple routine request that threatened to cost a patient their livelihood. Without trying to steer you clear of a very good doctor, I simply suggest if you choose to visit this office, for your own sake, please deal with any of the other staff and avoid the manager at all costs

Dr. Passorelli is a very sweet and caring doctor. He actually listens when you talk, and does not have that "white coat arrogance" that I have seen in so many other doctors! I actually enjoy visiting his office, because he honestly puts you at ease, and does all he can to meet your expectations!

Most people don't realize the doctor decides who gets refills n what they get not the staff! I work for a doctor and the reception follow the doctors rules and enforse them everyone complains about girls at drp office gets company's. Guess what that's ur insurance the girls r doing there job is de p supposed to work for free? why don't patients try being nice to the staff believe me it's not there fault if it's an hour wait so don't take it out on them! I love dr Passarelli office n there staff they are doing there job
