Dr. Francis Joseph Kadiyamkuttiyil, MD

I've been his patient for over 10 years. I've read some of the reviews here and want to offer some help to those wondering about this doctor. First of all, he is intelligent, professional, and interested in helping people find answers, treatments, and stay as healthy as possible. Second, no he may not have the best "bedside manner" as far as seeming compassionate about pain symptoms, as one patient said. One reason for that is when examining a patient, doctors have checklists and are thinking like investigators, observing and trying to solve mysteries. At times they may not say or verbalize what we may feel they should. What's most important is that they find answers, and he does. I can say I've always found him to be a kind, gentle person, who is warm and wants what is best for me. Some neurologists, come off as superior, better or smarter than everyone else. Dr. Francis does not, and his staff seems to like him, which says a lot. They all seem friendly. My last visit he smiled… and said he was glad to see me and remarked, "You are a miracle, you are still with us, with all you have going on, and you are always in such good spirits." I'm glad that he likes my spirit and good attitude, but it says as much about him as me, because I would not be here without receiving a good treatment for my condition to help me be functional to the best of my ability, and I credit my treatment and medication with keeping me alive.

oh he is okay don't ask how I am whats to ask how my wife is doing so when back home tell she thinks he little nuts?

This Dr was wonderful. He is very caring and takes his time with you. I was super nervous before seeing him and especially before my testing (MRI, EMG, NCV) but it was handled with such care and knowledge it seemed completely seamless. Really, this is a good one. Office staff wonderful, Dr wonderful...cant go wrong.

This Dr has zero bed side manner at all. While doing a procedure he could visibly tell I was in pain, didn't have one lick of compassion, or ask if I was OK.
