My son Ash was hit by a car. Blood in the brain, fractured skull, concussion. Dr. Genovese took excellent care of my son!! Very knowledgeable,caring, friendly and treated him with the utmost respect. I would definitely recommend Dr. Genovese to any one .????

This man is dangerous. He tried to perform a simple diskectomy on me in 2006.He turned this simple procedure. While taking too much bone, destabilizing the motion segment. He should have woken me and had me sign for instrumented stabilizing. But he chose to leave it, thereby permanently crushing the nerves. This incompetent took my life from me and my daughter without a functioning father.. Chronic pain relief that has me needing a liver transplant or die. He has lived his life for the past 13 yrs. I have been sentenced facing death. I can only hope someone sues him for every penny he has and what about my suffering through 4 surgeries just to stabilize my back. The nerves are done, no feeling in left leg knee down. Botched injections took my right leg. Nice life huh?

When did surgery was not informed properly and had become incontinent therefore was an emergency so when I met him I was told that he does surgery I come back for one follow up visit and then his role is over which I now have learned that is not how most surgeons conduct the whole process so when my surgery was done I was in worse pain than before surgery and he said that’s how things go basically he was done

I had pain for 7 years before I finally agreed to surgery. Before I decided to have the surgery, yes he is abrupt, "if you don't want to have the surgery there is nothing I, as a surgeon, can do for you." which in hindsight made sense..although I thought he had quite an attitude & chip on his shoulder for awhile. But once things got to a point where I HAD to have the surgery, he was one of the kindest, most compassionate dr I have seen. The only negative thing I have to say is that he is reluctant to prescribe pain medications. I believe in large part that is due to the widespread opiod problem we see on the news all the time. It's too bad, but you get through the pain & my way of life is so much better since i had the surgery.

I went to Dr. Genovese as a referral and was in a lot of pain. I was his first patient of the day and he came out to get me instead of me having my name called. He looked at my MRI and explained it to me. He also printed me a copy of the report. I was so afraid when I arrived but went home with a whole new attitude. I will see him again when surgery is necessary.

Dr. Genovese is the penultimate surgeon. He has great hand. Although any recovery from spine surgery is difficult in the first week or so I had a fast and complete recovery.

He sucks!, He doesn't know my problem of my cervical disease. He kind of lack of knowledge in his territory.
