Dr. Frank Wolkoff Moussa, MD

I do not recommend Dr. Moussa for rotator cuff surgery. In May 2025 he performed surgery on my shoulder. The recovery has been excruciating. He has no compassion and accused me of having a low pain threshold. I am left with persistent pain, limited mobility and function, instability (dislocation which was not a problem prior to surgery), and depression. I am a retired nurse who regrets having trusted Dr. Moussa to provide skilled care.

Hello, i am a Health Plan Representative, and i was writing to hopefully get the attention of the manager. I spoke to Sarah today, who called us here to get an authorization for surgery, Sarah was extremely unprofessional. She seem upset since the beginning of the call, not sure if that's how she normally is or maybe she had a bad day, regardless, there was absolutely no need to be disrespectful and rude. I did not in courage her behavioral but i simply ignored it and proceeded in helping her. I hope that in the future there is no need for any one here in my company to complain again. If so i hope that you find this as a way to train your staff in customer service and phone etiquette. Thank you

He seemed to be a nice DR. But they billed me twice for my one visit. Not realizing it I paid the same bill again !!! I didn’t realize it till I was starting my taxes . Now I have contracted 2 different times and can’t not get my money back from them .. going to try AZ. Chanel 15 to see if they can help ...

If his mighty than thou attitude doesn’t turn you off than please have him give you an injection in his leaky sink, garbage filled stock room. This man was useless and could really care less about you unless you want surgery from him. When the person I am caring for went back to him he was just rude and couldn’t care less about her pain. Well she ended up in the emergency room with a serious cellulitis infection from where he injected her. Probably because it was done in a storage room. Just stay away from this narcissistic man with a god complex.

Dr. Moussa performed surgery for me on my right knee to repair a torn meniscus. I am from Canada where this type of "elective surgery" can take months to have done. Dr. Moussa and his team were able to schedule me immediately for examination and surgery. The overall experience/surgery and follow up was "top drawer"...would highly recommend Dr. Moussa and his team ---- a pleasure to be taken care of so quickly. Our Canadian Healthcare system in this regard to take a lesson Frank

I really like Dr. Moussa's bedside manner! I have a chronic illness for 10+ years, and so have spent a lot of time in the hospital when my condition requires a doctors monitoring and treatment. I have seen many different doctors in Cornwall as a consequence, and was so pleased to finally have a doctor who listened carefully with daily visits and he tweaked treatment accordingly. I felt "taken care of" for the first time in many years and his knowledge of my condition gave me the confidence to rest and focus my limited energies on recovery. I look forward to follow-up with DR. Moussa as he has offered treatment advice that may prove to make a difference to my quality of life! Thank you Dr. Moussa for all that you have done and will yet do!!!

I had an accident walking my dog in May 2018 and severely fractured my hip. It has now been established by 2 other reputable ortho docs that I should have had a hip replacement, but Dr Moussa decided to just do a repair on a severely fractured hip with osteo porosis. In the emergency room, I was not given {and admittedly, did not ask for) any options or a doctor for a hip repair, BIG MISTAKE and I ended up with a failed painful surgery, one leg an inch and a half shorter and nothing said to me by the doctor about any of the side effects of HIS surgery choice, before or after the surgery. in fact this man barely said 2 words to me before or after the surgery. I eventually asked him to apologize for not telling me he had left me with one leg shorter than the other. I have since found an exceptional surgeon who not only replaced my hip in one hour , but painfully for him and me removed Dr Moussa's failure., and thankfully was able to restore my inch and a half diffence. After 5 months… and 2 surgeries, I am on the mend, my legs match and I should be walking without a hitch at the end of my second round round of PT. If you are looking for a surgeon to repair your hip or knee, run, no matter how much it hurts away from Dr Frank Moussa,. He is the worst I have encountered in my entire life and the surgeon that had to repair Dr Moussa's failure would tell you the same.

this was my first time hereâ?¦they were all pleasant and very on top of things, Dawn(front office) was kind and made things flow easily. Courtesy was overwhelming , of course everyone must keep in mind you treat others as you would want to be treatedâ?¦The Dr. made certain I made the decision that was best for meâ?¦I believe I found a keeper!!

Did not feel Dr M took my care seriously. Since I have MS, he made no attempt at helping me heal since I don't walk on my foot. Disregarded any pain. The orthodist he recommended said the scrip made no sense for my hand injury.

Dr Moussa has replaced both of my wife's knees and one of mine. The office staff and surgical team were stellar! I had my surgery in the early morning and Dr. Moussa appeared in my hospital room @ 8:30PM to see how I was. When I had 'challenges' with insurance and disability paperwork, Diane and Luz coud NOT have been more helpful. I agree with another reviewer-if this is not your doctor, you are not getting the BEST care!
